Making the dlc character be a Xenoblade character and a big titty anime character is genuinely the most logical decision in terms of sales. It's just hard to get excited about. The salt is already funny though so there's that.

The whole 'muh anime swordfighter' argument is overblown. Lots of characters have moves that have 'disconnects' which function like swords, its really nothing. Strange that there's an overlap between that and Dante-fags too, he's an anime swordfighter too
It's why people who say 'Hector or Ephraim would be better than Chrom/Lucina/Corrin' are simply rosterfagging, axes and spears are functionally the same ingame as swords.

Unlike byleth, one of Steve's attacks (the jab) involves the sword. Does having a sword in one attack really qualify him as a sword fighter?

Xenoblade Chronicles zerochan and rule34 art (
) is the only reason why Etika liked the game in the first place. From a person who lurked on his streams, his only fascination with Smash Bros is because of the fan service and not because of the characters/gameplay.It‘s the same reason why Zelda’s butt and thick frame were more talked about in BOTW than the actual game. You could bet they‘d never do this with Fire Emblem characters.

Oh and BTW swords in a fighting game is annoying but it makes sense.....just saying. How many characters use their hands? Mario, Peach, Daisy, Luigi, WFT, etc etc. Snake, Fox, Falco, Bayonetta, etc use guns.
Fun fact XB2 voice acting is bad because it was rushed. Pyras va revealed the director did a bad job not letting them do second takes or anything.

That's the thing though, he should have been allowed to redo it. Guy's a decent actor from what I've seen of his live action work, so its definitely possible, but he wasn't given the chance.
