add superhighlights. basically they're highlights but they have much more stringent criteria to be achieved. highlights are supposed to show the most relevant points of a thread for people who dont want to read everything, but the problem is that they can be too easy to get and you have them every other page or even on the same page, which defeats their purpose.

so it stands to reason that there should be another tier of highlights for people who want to read only the cream of the crop in a thread.

I think they're applied too easily. I can basically make a 5 min shitpost meme/image and post it in a thread and my posts get highlighted 3 times in a row in the same thread which doesn't add much to the conversation and just clogs up the highlight queue. Often highlights go to similar shit or meta posts everyone's reddit updooting that's irrelevant to readers looking to know more about the topic. You sure you wanna read all that?
