Supernatural Fandom

What is it about this show that attracts people who are unfamiliar with how healthy friendships work? Who always read either abuse or sex into every interaction?

It's easy to make the mistake when you haven't actually experienced any of the three, and only known friendship/sex/abuse from television/movies/comics/games.

it seems to be a trend with sci fi/fantasy shows. it just so happens that this show has attractive actors as well as that fantasy genre so all the romance and human interaction deprived fans see is SEX SEX SEX .

By this point, I wonder what will happen if the lesborgist fandom (from Supercorp, the 100, etc.) butts heads with Supernatural fujos?

I bet the lesborgists will throw fits about the women being killed, and claim all the women are their waifus.

I think they stopped giving a shit about Supernatural a while ago.

Though I find Jensen and Misha kind of cute, the fandom is such shit.

The incest posts, the sick fetish of gay ships, and now I wonder if that Charlie character (the lesbian one) was killed off because she was getting too close to the fandoms precious actors or if something went down.

Ah....welll....

(Also, I stopped watching halfway through season 10, I just couldn't do it anymore, I just didn't care. Looking at the episode synopsis on wikipedia I don't think I was missing out on much.
I think lost interest somewhere in season 3. Whenever it stopped being: "family of monster hunters fights creature of the week" kind of thing.

I actually liked the myth-arc thing going on, frankly. It's fairly rare that people stop watching the series before the 'proper' season 5 ending, though.

I was in the fandom in 2010 and 2011. It wasn't too bad back then. But I bailed after season 5 when they killed off my favorite character and never watched anymore. It seems like the fandom has turned to utter trash
if you don't mind me asking, who was your favorite character?

During the time of pseuicides, the Supernatural fandom believed that 4chan was planning raids v omegle.

I used to use tumblr back when I was a living shitbag, and if I remember right there would be these sporadic waves of panic where everyone would scream on their blogs “4chan racists are posting gore in the superwholock tag!!!!” or whatever

I was a frequet 4chan user back when that happened, and a tumblr-using acquaintance used some tortured logic to pin a fellow tumblrite's suicide on me.

There's LITERAL BLOOD ON MY HANDS, guys

The first time that happened they started shipping each other together.

But that was in 2010 and things were different.
