SuperWhoLock

Ah Superwholock. The hydra of fandoms that even Tumblr itself likes to make fun of. I follow(ed) people who are waist deep into Tumblr's bullshit and even they from time to time reblog posts that make fun of these idiots. This thread made me go onto the Superwholock tag on Tumblr and dear, lord it was cringey. Another tag popped up while I was searching for it. "Superwhopotterlock" apparently. Keep Harry Potter away from this. It already has to deal with a massive, shitty singular fandom. It doesn't need to be dragged into your autism.

I think there's another combo-fandom called Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons where it's just the main characters of Rise of the Guardians, Brave, Tangled and HTTYD hanging out together. It's nowhere near as insane as SuperWholock though for the simple reason of not screaming at people who don't like it and being much MUCH less about all the characters having yaoi fantasy sex with each other

That mesh of fandoms seemed a lot more chill until they started incorporating Frozen into it. Frozen has a fandom full of autists and waifufags. Not to mention that they're heading towards Supernatural levels in regards to being obsessed with gay incest. I also heard that there is some drama in it to but at the end of the day, I don't think it's as bad as Superwholock. Nothing can be as bad as Superwholock.

If SJWs are so agaisnt "cultural appropriation" why do they obess over two shows made by the British, unless the British are all white and therefore cannot be appropriated or something

The British are indeed all white. Their teeth also count as a way of avoiding medical oppression.

Before weebs, there were Americans who thought they were secretly British. Those were old enough there wasn't a cool Internet word for them.

The British are masters of cultural appropriation, what with having that huge empire back in the day and all.

So it's okay to appropriate from them, imperialist scum.

MLP vs SuperWhoLock is like the Ali/Frazier of insane fanbase fights. It's really impressive how those two groups have made Star Trek and Star Wars spergs look normal and functional in comparison.

Speaking as a star trek sperg myself at least it and star wars are adult shows onceyou start talking mlp and your over 10 you loose alo credibility. ..also trek > wars

Damnit sorry to double post im sorry

"ghhhh this fucking fandom my former best friend turned into it and then i think she decided to stop being friends with me because i talked too much about mlp"

And you think being a grown ass man/woman into mlp is better then this?
for one thing that post was made forever ago, for another there's no need to insult me personally over it, this is a complaining about superwholock thread.

19th-20th century American Anglophiles were the worst. I make an exception for HP Lovecraft, but even then he was a racist asshat much of the time.

Every time you watch an episode of Dr. Who, a scientist cries.

Think of the scientists. Don't watch Dr. Who.

That's the thing. It's a fucking television show. It's meant to entertain, albeit mindlessly. That'd be like refusing to watch MacGyver because some of his Macgyvering tricks are time-elapsed for plot convenience. I'm not by any means saying there's anything wrong with NOT watching it, some of it is boring/repetitious/pandering/etc., but I mean in general; don't let shitty fans stop you from liking something. I had to learn that the hard way; The Supernatural fandom robbed me of the ability to enjoy the show and I was effectively screwed out of something I enjoyed for longer than those tweeny pricks have had parental locks off their tvs.
