I too got the "you can't donate to this address right now" thing from coinbase, which is pretty infuriating. Why am I even using bitcoin if I'm still going to have big brother watching over my every transaction. I take it the way to deal with this is to install a btc wallet on my computer and send money to it, and then do the donation with my own wallet? This annoys me because I am lazy and that sounds like work.

If you are in the US, just buy a (non-vanilla) Visa gift card with cash. The fees on it are way less than gas fees and it isn't traceable to you.

Because if yes - it's blatant stealing and is much worse than censorship.

So how do I go about donating crypto anonymously? I've heard monero is good for that but I'm not really sure. A link to some tutorials would be sufficient.
