I want to leave this forum and go to a more positive place. I really do. But I'm scared. I'm scared because I have no friends anywhere but here. If I left this place I'd be all alone, and the thought of going somewhere, alone, by myself... that's terrifying. I'm not a bad person, I just fell in with the wrong crowd here, I let the cyberbully life take hold of me because I didn't know how else to be accepted and I'm just outright terrified of being alone. The people here, they prey on that. They make me too scared to leave.

Could you help me? Could you, I don't know... just, be my friend? Look after me and introduce me to people in one of the places you hang out in just so I'm not so alone while I get my bearings and meet new people?

There's a service called Privacy.com which has an interesting premise. Basically, you can mask your credit cards and bank accounts by basically conjuring up gift cards for free. You plug into their service with your details, you assign $X to a card, and then that card is free to use and doesn't have any cardholder details.

If anyone wants to test donating by this by creating a gift card, sending me the details (including how much you put on it so I know how much to charge for), that'd be cool. It's really roundabout but less so than Coinbase.

Privacy.com apparently wants log-in info for bank accounts, Uphold.com might not and I believe it does the same thing.

Uphold.com does allow for adding funds with a credit card, but it looks like you need to verify your account with them to access that.

That said, while privacy.com wanted my banking login to add my funding, it's not really that different from the old payment setup of account/routing and then confirming the small deposit to the account. Just set up an account there and I'll see how it goes.

And you most certainly could do that as far as I know. Just that you'd be paying that small fee to get the card, instead of/as well as coming out of the final dollar amount on the processors end.

That works perfectly fine, just be aware I need to know the exact amount on the card in order to charge it. Privacy.com & Uphold.com just automate the process and remove the physical fee for the card you'd get at Walmart.
