Surtur and littlebiscuits guide to F.A.T.A.L

I believe Dynastia said you can pick your race and choose to be at least a young adult if you don't want a child character but everything else is random.

Alright, I'll be a young adult. And completely psychotic.

Get ready for some FUN!

Human female please.

I don't know if I was allowed to pick a gender for you so I didn't but you got lucky. The Generator doesn't take care of all the steps, there is a list of steps on page 11 to complete your character. PM me if you need help and I'll see what I can do.

Ok, let's see.
Racial bonus: computer refused to download the rule book, so fuck it, it's not like I need them.
Roll for "occupation": Serial Killer.
Skill points: uh, 20? I guess? I don't have a pair of dice, and I honestly don't care enough to figure out how the hell many dice I should roll.
So, let's see my relevant Serial Killer skills.
Three points into Dismemberment.
Three points into Impaling.
Three points into Sexual Adeptness, or whatever the fuck it was.
Two points into Tanning (for making skinsuits and human skin masks).
Two into Skinning.
And the remaining seven into Weapons Use (general).
Oh, and type of weapon would be swords.
Sensory crap. Fuck that, I won't need it. Average, I guess.
Clothing. Normal Serf Clothes.
And my Medieval Metal Rape Dick. Because my character is a transsexual serial killer.

Ok, that's good enough for me. And if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for FATAL.

So is there a die roll to see what happens when you get shot in the vajayjay with a deagle or for the use of jellyfish for sadomasochistic purposes? This sounds right up Golden Knight's alley.

Roll to see if you are a bastard. I am assuming Byron Hall rolled a 1 on this.

Funny side note: when I started playing D&D there was a "roll to see if you're a bastard table" and stuff like that because the DM was my friend's autistic dad and he modified the original dungeons and dragons with a bunch of stupid tables like this he pulled out of dragon magazines from the 1970s. It was a much more sensible 1D6 rolls. I wouldn't be surprised if he ripped off a bunch of feat rolls from other games and just multiplied all the values or something like that.

Roll for "occupation": Serial Killer.

In fatal, your occupation chooses you. Rolled 446 - Militiaman. Nice. But you don't have enough strength.

Rolled 806 - Squire. Very nice, and you actually meet all the entry requirements, despite being a female serf who failed the militiaman's exam. Good job, on the historical accuracy there, FATAL. You don't get any bonus skills so I guess just pick whatever skills sound Squirey to you. I guess you're not gonna be a female Ed Gein so much as a female Gilles de Rais.

edit ; With your 39 starting gold, you can't afford any type of sword, but could afford your choice of a knife, hand-axe or halfspear, along with a set of gambeson, arming cap and leather bracers? Lose any one of the armor items and you could change your weapon to medium spear, scourge, whip, or meat cleaver.

Not really sure if this'll work if you can't view the .pdf

Of course, roll 3d10 for me, please.

Thanks, I guess I'll go with a Meat Cleaver. And the same skills. I'm a squire/serial killer, I pick things up.

So it turns out that my character and Randall's share the same last name, Sewell. Only Cecily is 15 years older. I think we might be related. It could explain at least why the two of us will be involved in this adventure and why there is a 10 year old girl tagging along.

I was thinking the same thing. If you want to be sisters it could also explain why Cecily is a Squire, maybe your Beserkr dad made the unconventional choice of having his daughter squire for him.

I was thinking that but FATAL says I was first born and I'm ten years younger and you can't argue with FATAL.

The dice never lie.

Okay gamers, so far we have...
Yayuk the Kobold laundry-slave. She can wash clothes and maybe deliver some beatings with her +0 club of fabric softening.
Sybil Sewell the beserkr's daughter. Likely to unleash some tiny fists of fury, unlikely to ever turn eleven.
Cecily Sewell the female Squire, and Sybil's big-city cousin, maybe. Can wield a mean sword. Can't afford one.

Three slots still open for those of you masochistic enough to participate in something immensely stupid and pointless.

Every time I tried to create a character I crash into a slumber.

I wound up with a Nick Bate Satyr monster, Tomas Warrenne. I'm down with playing except I'm going to be in China so the time difference might be a hindrance. Is it common for the Nick Bate types to have a -99 body attractiveness? wow

Seems like in this world, Anna left him too. At least he doesn' have siblings

That's pretty understandable.

It'll be a slow-moving forum game to give me time to do all the autistic maths required, so time differences won't be a problem. I'll have a look over your guy and figure out what else needs adding when I get the chance, but one question, did you add the Languages to his sheet yourself or did the gen program decide you speak them?

I added the languages myself but I'm too adhd to do the other stuff you wanted while at work. I still need to figure out what to spend his 9 sp on as well.

You have to invest skill points into (Language), Speak to talk in anything but your native tongue (Sapian, in your case). There's a -21 penalty which reduces by 5 for every year (lol, fatal) you spend immersed in that culture, so you'd need to invest a lot of skill points to get past it, which you're not something allowed to do as an illiterate peasant. The "max languages" is just a limit on how many foreign languages you can eventually learn.

Okay, I've done your rolls for you. If there's anything you don't like, you can try rolling it yourself, but you're already the most powerful PC in the game by a huge margin. You're a half-demonic laborer with hydrochloric-acid fingernails, and you've got a whopping 72 skill points to spend. Unfortunately, you have to spend them in skills related to manual laboring unless you can come up with a decent explanation of why you'd have a certain skill. You can fill up your sight/smell/sound etc. only to the investment cap listed, but general menial-labour type skills such as hewing, thatching, mining, carpentry, etc. are acceptable choices to dump all those unusable skill points. With all those skills to spend and nothing good to spend them on, you might want to consider putting some into spitting and urination, because why the hell not.

Also, with your 9 silver pieces you can afford some kind of laborer's tool to use as a weapon, like a mallet, shovel or pitchfork. I'd suggest using your free racial "Weapon (Specific)" on that tool, so that you don't get a retarded -30 "learning curve penalty" on it.

This fuckin game, man.
