Does anyone have the full tape of ABC's 'Haywire: Children Living With Schizophrenia'?
I want to go back over it again and compare the involvement of the Wohlenbergs, Schofields and Stancils in the tape. The Jani segments are out there everywhere in pieces, but I want to observe the other two families. We know Cinnamon Stancil isn't a munchie, genuinely wanted the best for her daughter and Rebecca seems to be living a normal life, but the Wohlenbergs are intriguing as their mom now describes them as 'three chronic kids' with autoimmune disorders instead of mental illness, and their mom is now a giant munchie.

As far as i can tell, she has Lupus which means her kids are like 50 times more likely to have autoimmune diseases too. She never mentions anything about her kids being mentally ill any more, and Noah (Brenna) did like an AMA kind of thing on Youtube where they said they went to "boarding school" instead of an RTF for schizophrenia. It seems what i can find online (her IG, she had a blog going about her physical illness, etc), she has completely dropped anything about her kids being mentally ill and now prefers to just say "oh they're doing fine now, lets talk more about their physical illness". She may be a munchie, or she may have such shitty genes that her kids ended up with a bunch of diseases themselves. I would kill to know how the mental illness thing is doing though

I don’t know any people that have children with medical or psychiatric conditions that would want all the details broadcast to a national audience.

No good parent would violate the privacy of their child or promote and broadcast a psychiatric diagnosis and their child’s “disturbed behaviors” to a national audience unless attention was the top priority.

Can you imagine getting to college and all your classmates discover you were the schizo kid that wanted to kill mommy on 20/20?

I saw the major problem being the parents on that 20/20 special, not the kids.

It's not a bad idea to archive every single show that aired something about them, to highlight the role they played in enabling this to continue. I still scour search engines for videos, even dubbed, to catch footage that isn't in the american versions, or something.

Jennifer Wohlenberg had to DFE because one of Ailish's school friends found all the shit about her online and tore her a new one regarding it. No wonder Brenna changed her name though, she actually did come across as if she were dangerous.

Something I can gather from all this is that Susan most definitely sniffed out the most media attention she could possibly get. Rebecca was and still is now just as cute as Jani was, if not more, they're both the same, cute little blonde Californian girl with Schizophrenia so it's not that Jani was just more media friendly, I'm sure in her tantrum days she was a nightmare to film and I'd hate to deal with Susan on a daily basis.

Yeah I was close to hospitalization myself- thats how bad withdrawl can be. Usually can take care of myself pretty well. When withdrawing from these medications...

Lets just say that if Bodhi is hospitalized- it might be the only legitimately necessary psychiatric hospitalization that hes experienced. Its been covered but, going off those medications cold turkey definitely can create havok in someones mind.

While going off all the medications at once seems like a dream come true for Bodhi, I really almost wish they had tapered down. It is really easy for Susan right now to point at medical withdrawl symptoms and call them psychosis. And if the doctors she is going to arent really really already aware of what she is- she could easily find someone to dupe if “she gets lucky enough” and Bodhi DOES actually get bad enough to become psychotic.

The people who are the best at getting away with things arent always the smartest ones. Usually they just care more about it than anyone else involved. It doesnt take a genius to fake a fever if no one around you cares enough to test for it and the person with the fever is loud enough about it that they scare any objections away. Susan has gotten her way so far by just being the loudest one around her when it comes to her kids. Not by being the smartest. And right now, this is a good thing, because right now- lots of smart people are on to her. And personally, now that so many people care- even a little- I dont think Susan is smart enough to get away with it while so many are looking.

Right now she is facing lots of opposition so... if any time were the time to change things, it is now. The more eyes on this the better. The harder it will be for her to keep up and the less pain it will mean for the kids

Lets just hope that she is exposed before she gets another opportunity to gain ground by manipulating people who would just prefer to have her shut up so they can look the other way.

I remember Jennifer saying something on her blog, the one she deleted, that she pitched the idea of a book about her kids and every publisher turned her down on the grounds that it was "too depressing" to read about 2 kids who really didnt have any hope of getting better.

What struck me was that the kids were SO sick at the RTF's they were sent to, then as soon as they graduated HS and aged out of those kind of institutions, they suddenly got better. Like, overnight. I've seen her say somewhere (i think it was on her new blog) that her kids' stories are "no longer hers to tell", which i dont understand. She had no problems baring all about them, then suddenly she was like "nope, not going to talk about my kids mental health". She talks a lot about her kids physical health, though.

At 14:36, DeAntonio says exactly what new shrink said yesterday. So that's one of the many reasons Susan must hate him so much, imagine how Susan felt to be slapped right in the fucking face with what DeAntonio said years ago by a completely different psychiatrist. Hopefully the new Psychiatrist clued himself up and saw DeAntonio's opinion before the appointment, but even better if he came to that conclusion by himself.

FUCKING LOL. Susan answered the "why did you invite CPS?" question as autistically as possible. That's not an answer to WHY CPS was there, Susan, that's a description of what happened in the room.

She also heard everything that new psychiatrist said, Susan. And everything Michael said. And will make a report and recommendations based on this. Which, if you don't follow, means more DCFS.

Re: Wohlenbergs. No, Jennifer had no right to post pictures and videos of her children before they turned 18. I also believe that is why Brenna changed her name to Noah and Ailish posts under her stage name. I can't say that the girls don't have mental illness now because they are definitely not typical for their ages. However, I believe all of their dysfunctional psychological behaviors are due to their dysfunctional childhood with Jennifer and being in residential treatment facilities. Two of the three are getting SSI for their "mental illness" which I think means they are required to take medication and have regular counseling or the money is cut off. Now Jennifer has used the obscure physical illnesses as the new badge honor for her special snowflakes. Even Kieran (they youngest) can't get out of bed because she is so severely disabled.

Another interesting aspect would be the media’s complicity in this case. Susan was spurred on by the unquestioning support and attention given to her by TV production outfits. I’d love to eventually hear from some of the people who worked on the shows Susan appeared on, more than a few would have seen her for the sick abusive MBP mother she is but on with the show!

Don't forget about the LA Times writer SHARI ROAN whose response to a reader pointing out the Schofields' admissions of abusing Jani as a young child was basically that she didn't blame them for hitting Jani.

Hmm. We can always email the production team and ask why. I'm assuming someone in it rescinded their permission to appear, or some similar legal issue.

And who sends their kid to school in antipsychotic withdrawals and dehydration while immunocompromised? DCFS is just going to get another call from school staff tomorrow, this is ridiculous.

I agree with this, and I think it's terrible Michael and Susan hit Jani when she pushed them to set limits cos they never did, but, Michael publicly confessed the physical abuse committed. Susan never did; we know she hit Michael and Jani because Michael told us. At least a person who admits abuse is accountable to themselves and others. (Michael stopped hitting her). Susan lies about abuse and I really, really hope CPS removes them because they are not safe in her care and Bodhi's life is in danger.
