I can only guess that some of the crazies commenting on her FB have been pushing CBD oil. I can’t tell if Susan cares either way about it. Since it’s not a drug for schizophrenia and it doesn’t knock the kids out then she’s probably against it.

I think Bodhi is just interested in something besides food now that the drug fog is lifting. His previous eating seemed like a robot shoving food mindlessly in his mouth. A few days with less food isn’t any big deal as long as he’s drinking plenty of water. I think just being aware of his environment has him to engaged to care about food.

Since Susan takes them out to eat they also associate food with getting out of their messy hovel so it’s not just food that’s been the lure but getting to go somewhere. I’d say getting out of that shithole is even more enticing than the garbage food she bribes them with.

So, first day Michael and DCFS aren't frog marching her into a regular doctor, and already she's implying that Bodhi is going to skip his MRI. Lo and Behold, he was able to fall back to sleep (likely once Susan stopped poking at him and filming him), and she's hemming and hawing over whether she's going to the MRI.

The MRI could possibly do one thing Susan REALLY wants (show results that look like those other schizophrenia patients, this backing up her years' long delusion), and several things she doesn't want at all (proof of brain damage, severe loss of white matter, or permanent seizure disorder). My guess is she's going to opt out of it entirely while Mike is in the air and cant protest.

Her friends are gunning for her to ignore those stupid doctors and buy CBD oil anyway because BIG PHARM just doesn't want her to be great. Susan says something interesting about DCFS - my what a difference a day makes. DCFS is no longer her best friend and advocates. Now they're part of the evil Heath Care System out to keep your babies from God's medicine.

From one of the science pages: "Summary: People with severe encephalitis — inflammation of the brain — are much more likely to die if they develop severe swelling in the brain, intractable seizures or low blood platelet counts, regardless of the cause of their illness, according to new research." - That's Bodhi all over.

I wonder if that’s because he did get the MRI and the damage from a child being on avalanche of anti-psych meds has them wondering wtf is wrong with his brain. No doubt it’s caused damage and fucked shit up, just how much and if it’s permanent.

Hi. New member here. Have been reading this thread for the last 6 months or so and have decided to make an account finally.

I am really glad that it seems at least more and more people are becoming aware to just how serious the situation with Bodhi and Jani is.

Reading a little bit about pseudobulbar affect... I dont think this is what is happening with Bodhi.

Excuse me for powerleveling- or dont, dont really care, but I have been on various antipsychotics and have also been an idiot and have decided to go off large doses of these drugs alone and without medical supervision... and its just awful.

Im not the kind of person who cries or laughs easily, part of that is part of the profile for negative symptoms in schizophrenics/schizoaffectives... but withdrawing from heavy doses of antipsychotic medications FLOODS your brain with dopamine and makes every external stimulus louder, brighter, more colorful- ect. Your brain just has a very hard time reacting normally- because everything becomes very abnormal very quickly. So you end up feeling as if- someone has been spinning your around for hours, extremely disoriented, and overwhelmed. Since all stimulus is stronger, you react much more strongly than normal to it- both in extreme negative ways and extreme positive ways.

I cant imagine how much worse it is for someone who already has sensory issues- aka someone who is autistic. But I can tell you- even though sometimes it looks like hes laughing- everything is overwhelming to him right now. Its like being on a roller coaster that you can never get off of. It goes from funny to terrifying to tears really quickly.

So my point is. Bodhi is probably miserable and terrified. And its absolutely sick to see a mother just standing there watching her young autistic child suffer.

By the way. I truly believe Susan is a sociopath. Antisocial personality disorder. There is no way that anyone without that condition can be that... exploitative to someone elses pain- especially their childs. Most adults, even narcissistic adults- will show some level- even if its very low level- of discomfort around someone suffering. There is not one iota of that in Susan. She is truly enjoying this.

They need to be taken away. Ive gone from being a little bit too optimistic about their situation to believing that if something isnt done one of those children will die.

Anyways. Sorry for the powerleveling. I just wanted to make it clear that- Bohdi is probably not enjoying this at all. Even the parts that look like hes having a good laugh are just an extension of his nightmare mood swings caused by WITHDRAWING FROM ALL MEDS AT ONCE (are you kidding me- seriously- thats like the one thing that you just dont do- any psychiatrist worth their salt would tell you that- especially a child- hes going to be in agony these next few weeks- and perhaps even longer- med withdrawl can last months depending on the person- and how much they are withdrawing from/how long they have taken it- so truly- Bodhi could experience symptoms of withdrawls for the rest of the year and I wouldnt be surprised with just how dependent his brain has probably formed to these drugs)

Its a truly sad situation.

No. Most likely he either got oral herpes someplace (or actual herpes... Cory) and his lowered immune system couldn't take it, or Susan never gave him the chicken pox vaccine like all the other hippy dippy moms and he got exposed to it at the hospital.

Or, he could have contracted any kind of virus in his immunocompromised state as his mother sent him off to school and invited 15 people to their apartment, and caught a high fever that resulted in encephalitis.



But again, this is Susan. She's doing a "teaser". B hasn't got encephalitis. He's taking a blood test where that's one of the many things being tested for.

Also. I know that they are having issues with their insurance (their own fault)... but I really hope that while Bodhis withdrawing they are planning on seeing a psychiatrist more than once every 3 months. That is basically the maximum amount of time between appointments allowed and is usually only the case with people who are fairly stable on their medications and have been for a while.

I would hope that through this time while Bohdi is in an extremely compromised state that he is being monitored more frequently than that. But I suppose thats optimistic. Susan doesnt seem to care much at all for Bodhis comfort or safety. The only way hell get medical attention will be after hours/days/weeks of agitated torture by Susan to show symptoms.

Really. What this situation is lacking is a responsible adult in general. The fact that pretty much every adult in these kids lives is failing them is really disgusting.

I have hope for the new psychiatrist. I just hope that theyll be able to continue to afford to see them beyond the absolute bare minimum. This really was not the time to cut insurance- but in Susans world I suppose it somehow makes sense.

For months Jani was the focus and Bodhi ignored. Susan simply focuses on whatever kid can provide the most drama and attention for her.

I'm not saying she is, but they dont even bother making Jani taking it everyday, then there's the failure rate because it's not full proof.

In the theoretical: Yes, Jani is too developmentally delayed to consent to sex with anyone and anyone who had sex with her would be prosecuted. If Jani turned up pregnant, both DCFS and Adult Protective Services would get involved, and Susan would be in big trouble with her state employer if she knew about the situation and permitted or encouraged it. She would most likely need an abortion for two reasons: it would be too confusing and overwhelming for her to be pregnant and she would never be allowed to keep a baby anyway; and, due to the medications Jani takes, any fetus would be irreparably damaged in brain and body. Not only would Jani likely miscarry due to any fetus dying of her medicines, but if Jani was forced to carry to term, the baby would most likely die immediately due to brain damage.

Susan's vague fantasies about becoming a grandmother are directly at odds with her dream of having two children taking clozaril, thorazine and lithium. The drugs that have wreaked havoc upon the brains and bodies of two children ages 7 and 9 at the time clozapine was started, would be tenfold devastating to a fetus.

I know Susan would LOVE a grandchild. Not out of any kin-related sense of pride or guardianship but because it would be another new life to corrupt. Michael needs to make sure his new baby never comes in contact with Susan out of fear that she might suddenly start diagnosing it with every mental illness imaginable.

Back on topic, what do we have to wait for now? With Bodhi off his meds and Susan being monitored for two weeks, what's our best outcome?
