Eh, I wouldn't blame Chris for all the shit he did. It's like giving a little kid a basket of candy bars and being surprised when they ruin their dinner. Children (and manchildren) need supervision until they mature. Unfortunately Chris isn't going to mature.nathan_grantham said:I've got sympathy for him due to the partially bad hand his life dealt him and the possible potential he had but squandered.
But I dont sympathise him for his online/offline infamy that he brought on himself. He was given many chances to improve or change his life, Ignore his trolls and even think his situations over.us But he refused, ignored and resisted and now he's reduced to a stubbornly, more childish, paranoid & possibly misanthropic shell of a human.

I can't help but feel bad for the person he's become because it's partially because his parents allowed him to exist in a world where he was infallible
But I also can't believe he continues to act like a petulant child who wasn't allowed a cookie all the while expecting different results. It's been so ingrained in him that it's him vs the world that he thinks genuine advice (especially from outsiders) is wrong and bad.
Like several posters have said, the minute I start feeling more pity for him than disbelief, he does something stupid or cruel. It's a vicious cycle.
