It's more abused spouse than boiled frog. Nintendo was never not awful in its behaviour, people just delude themselves to think it's acceptable. No other company would expect you to buy the same game twice to get all the content.
Played it on a PS1 Slim when I was a teen.
I can afford a switch and all the launch games with no problem. Just nothing is tempting me to run out and preorder it when it’s available. Only games that really interest me from Nintendo are Zelda and Metroid. Haven’t played a mario game since Sunshine. I enjoyed BOTW and TOTK. But I didn’t love them like OoT and MM. i actually played through MM for the first time last year on my deck and I had a great time.

I am not looking forward to the inevitable Silent Hill 3 remake at all. Silent Hill 3 is all about rape or at least Heather Mason's fear of it.
I’m pretty sure there was something about Bloober team partnering with Konami on another game. Not quite sure if I’m remembering correctly but they’re definitely remaking silent hill 3. I imagine all the niggercattle who’ve never played any of the original four games will eat it up and then insult the actual fans for not liking the slop, as usual.
4 kinda blows though, it's jankino. Out of the original games I'd say it's the one that could actually benefit from a remake, not a Blooper remake but a remake.
Yeah the big issue with the game was the entire 2nd half. There’s an atmosphere in SH4 that video games don’t have today, but that whole 2nd half of the game was unnecessary.
Thats the unfortunate reality of wikis. You get one committed kook who simply takes over an article unless the admins are willing to step in. And they rarely are. There are articles about obscure history on the real wikipedia that have the problem, some small time youtuber on a wiki I didn't even know existed until you pointed it out is even less likely to do anything.
I always thought the premise of SH4 was super neat, being trapped in your own home and your only means of interacting with the world being an unholy portal to hell in your bathroom is definitely one way to go about it.
The apartment sections of SH4 are extremely atmospheric. For a 2004 game, it was eerily realistic during those parts and most modern games don’t come close.
