I also have to wonder, is he like-botting? His "owning" the right posts get double or quadruple the likes of his standard posts, which usually sit at 60 or less likes. He also has almost zero engagement, with replies being very few.

Thanks to everyone who helped for the archive effort and all the other archivers. I now have every Synth video in 1080p/1440p. The final size came in only at 191GB which was rather surprising since I expected well over 200 gigs in size. For comparison 191 gigs is about 15 Synth streams. The average stream being around 10+gigs in size.

I'm really disappointed with what happened. I predict a lot of Synth's fans will start migrating over to Griffin Gaming at some point if he actually throws in the towel, but it's just not the same. There's something about this fucking spazz rightfully not giving even as much of an inch when it comes to anything that even remotely smells of DEI anything that made it absolutely worth the sub. Plus his long ass streams of him sperging at garbage woke games were THE thing for me to listen to in the car when on long drives throughout each week.

I know that in theory, the channel is still "fine", and he can still stream, but it sounds like he's already given up. If he kept streaming just the same, but everyone had an understanding that the stream would be deleted after it's done, I think even then people would be fine with it because they would know to either suck it up and tune in when it's going, or record it for later.

Forgive me if what I'm saying is simply based on you mis-wording something, but the fact that he has a Rumble account (granted, not auto-uploading stuff), and yet I'm seeing a lot of comments (on YT, etc) saying he needs to get a Rumble account, I think is an indication of why he doesn't want to do it. While the audience would likely be smaller, I bet a lot of them would migrate over at least. But he's not even willing to at least TRY that.

Having said that - Synth's laziness is infuriating to me as a fan. Of course he can't help that loony troons and people who lack pattern recognition skills want him gone and will violate TOS by creating mass-flagging campaigns to do it, but even so, lack of preparations for such a situation would be so easily avoidable or worked around had he just taken ONE DAY to Google how to fix his Rumble account linking problems, or create SOME kind of backup plan.

This is his bread and butter, what would he move on to? He claims he may start up a new channel that would be doing something different, not reviewing modern games. Well did he even consider how extremely fucking difficult it is for a brand new account to break into the space, and get to the point where you're making the same money he is now?

Also, if he's too lazy to have some kind of backup plan, or even take one single day to fix his Rumble account, how would he function in any decent-paying competitive job? He really should have prepared for this, and it's extremely frustrating for me to see because this was easily my favorite video game related YouTube channel these days.

It's like his fans just want him to fix his stuff, and he's like "can't, too lazy."

I'm not quite "Amish", but Kiwi Farms is literally my only "social media" at this point. Lol. I do not miss any others. If irl people want to get a hold of me, they can call/text/email me. Works fine for me.

Have you ever met a troon that was genuinely happy? Like really happy. I bet you haven't, because they aren't happy.

They were miserable with mental health problems, took the wrong advice, and are now a disgusting abomination that will be a physical monster for the rest of their life. Misery loves company, so if they can inject themselves into fucking everything, well then maybe "it's not so bad, now everyone is like me."

Of course this doesn't actually help anything, hence the 41%.

If he is/was willing to make a new channel, he should've just taken a page out of E;R's book. He could've uploaded his streams to a different lesser known channel, right after he finished streaming. I mean, he records them, right? (however, I don't know if he responded to any points like this)

Looks like it. No way a 2-hour screed against Synth would reach 200+ thousand. The comments section was full of Synth defenders in the first week of upload and I hear those were deleted. And it's not just on YT either. Just look at its Twitter engagement.

Ditto. No idea if he's ever found employment in the past but it's gonna be way difficult to get into that what with the looney troons like Dead Name and psychopathic Overton window-humping centrist grifters like Mauler willing to see his life burn since he's sorta self-doxxed himself already. He's so blessed to have a relatively sizable following and engagement on his content that it's kinda shooting himself in the foot that he doesn't take measures to just fortify the good thing he's got going.

At the end of the day it's his choice and his life. Unless someone's got a direct line to the Synthler, there's not much we can really do. Frustrating as it may be.

IIRC he said he has all his videos on his computer, but not the live streams. So unless they're all archived or re-uploaded elsewhere, they're gone.

See, one would think that somebody willing to call out DEI agendas getting shafted like this would be ideal for these guys to talk about, but the "Fandom Menace" or whatever they want to call themselves these days was never about that. It was a self-serving grift, and that's all it ever was.

Same here. I can understand if he is an adept of the "man, I'm not perfect and look at me, I'm a coomer and stuff". Yet he has ideals, and in line of philosophy, he is much more closer to "materialism" than to "idealism". If we draw a parallel, he's closer to figures like George Raymond Richard Martin & Neil Gaiman than to John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and Clive Staples Lewis. And I get it, it's hard to strive to get closer to the latter, but its so much more rewarding.

If anyone else wants to help archive future livestreams, or just watch them later, you can use this yt-dlp command:
yt-dlp --live-from-start --output "%(upload_date>%Y-%m-%d)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s" <link>
It'll make sure you get the whole livestream from the beginning and format the filename like this:
'YYYY-MM-DD - title.ext'
