This is a tough go man

A lot of my favorite games are loaded with jank and pretty slow paced but this is on another level. It's even worse if you are like Synth and just got done with the superior first game.

I'm just waiting for Marvel tier quips at this point. Maybe there is a capeshit parody quest in there too, who knows. Not like this game is historically accurate, anything is on the table after magical negros and Henry eating corpses for a guy who wants to create a jewish golem.

I'd love to see the actual playtime of the shills who pushed this game giving it 9's. I have a feeling guys like Mack got enough footage for a review and dropped it right after. I don't believe his 45 hours in BS story and why would you? He's already lied about everything else.

I don't know how Synth is powering through this. Even if you were a die hard RPG fan I can't see how you wouldn't tap out and call it quits.

That's another thing man, I've been watching the stream and a lot of what I'm seeing is very goofy, very over the top, and not the slightest bit realistic.

Some of these side quests are so silly they look like what you'd find in a Yakuza game.

I can't think of any video game fanbase at the top of my head that's genuinely based.

Even if it's not completely infested with woke shit yet, you got people wishing for remakes, wishing for a sequel to made in this current time, "missed opportunity to make this character trans", etc. All signs it's basically fucked.

There is genuine millennial writing in this game. The Huntsman quest just now, when Henry killed the bandits that stole the horse, the Huntsman couldn't just thank him, he had to go all Borderlands quipsy and tell Henry that he stinks like shit too. HUMILIATION NEVER ENDS
Oh and of course the wife gives the girlboss routine when you bring him home, because we can't just have a happy reunion.

It's very arcadey, you can fiddle about with tuning options and they do have an effect on the handling but don't go in expecting something like Forza or Gran Turismo, more like a PS2-era NFS title.

It's immersion in how you interact with the game world, Red Dead 2 having stores where most of the items can be bought straight off the shelves and food being ordered from a menu that John/Arthur picks up is far more immersive than going into a menu screen and buying 20 lobster bisques to shove in your inventory and consume instantly prior to entering a gunfight.

It's actually the exact opposite for me. As soon as I see that highly detailed long winded animation the fifth time I get annoyed and I'm taken out of the experience.
