A was going to make a joke about the Cuman's, my Grandma and hot paprika but apparently that only came on the scene in the 1800s.

I know you guys are running hard with this 'humiliation ritual' narrative but to me it's looking more and more like Varva couldn't get around embracers casting requirements and then did whatever he could to make the stuff interesting. Be that shit post seasoning memes or histrionic females at every turn. He's (((a sellout and a liar))) but I don't think the game takes away your progression to humiliate you, it does so because it's a fucking RPG. I think you guys are reading in way too much and have adopted an unreasonable standard.

I obviously haven't played it yet but I feel like this is a Hogwarts style controversy, where it's not so much about the content of the game (that game had troons in like 1890 and was still purchased to own the libs) and more about the external political factors (Varva being a smug sellout, JK having her name on it). A lot of this feels like justification/sour grapes over the choice to boycott it, which I get, I was looking forward to this game... I can just admit it though.

The only time I've had fun playing this game until now is when I was deliberately fucking up the story by abusing saves and acting like a maniac. The entire segment I just went through would have been the most boring shit ever if I wouldn't have had to dodge all the guards in von Bergows castle just to get to any of the quest markers. Constantly fighting the guards also levelled my sword skill up so much I beat the bandit leader mini boss in two master strikes.

I'm not talking about game progression, that's a separate issue, I'm talking about how people treat you when they talk to you.
women bitching at you, just out right acting like you're not armed or dangerous, how missions are made to 100% waste your time
making sure characters that people like Synth would want to kill, essential.
look back at the woman backstabbing clip, most women are written like that and always have a line where they go

you can just pirate it for free, what's there to be sour grapes about it? that people can't pay to play it?
someone in the thread is already doing that and killing everyone, I've edited and clipped enough of gameplay and dialogue to know it's just a gayer more retarded KC1

It is a humiliation ritual. The first thing you have to do in Trosky castle is carry sacks around (AGAIN FOR THE THIRD FUCKING TIME) and make horseshoes for what feels like an hour while every single NPC (except for one chill normal dude) bitches at you and insults you. Later you get a prolonged sequence of Henry being tortured (including having his balls squeezed with pliers) after which he gets saved by a woman. I haven't gotten to Musa yet but I'm sure shit is just gonna get worse.

This isn't a debate I can win seeing as I have not played it myself but I will continue to be the devil's advocate because someone has to (and I'm every bit the contrarian). This also smacks of criticism of the first game, "It's slow," "It's boring," "Henry is weak," "Fuck being a monk!" I never had a problem with the pacing of KC:biggrin:1 or the clunky early game combat, I thought it was brilliant how you feel your skill progression in the mechanics. The first game was all about the sense of progression, Vavra understands that a power fantasy is better the lower you start. The more the player struggles early the more satisfying the win is in the long run and that applies to the story as well.

I check. The flop doesn't look good for Vavra but I don't know what Warhorse's hole cards are and I don't see the need to feed the pot before the turn. I don't want to be Mauler doubling down on some point that will be invalidated the moment he hits play and lets the subject finish their sentence.

I actually did call him out in the comments a while back. Especially with the Bear Sex scene. Synthetic Man likes Baldurs Gate 3, but he's say it's gay and woke as fuck.

Synth's take has always been that of a game is fun and entertaining than he'll acknowledge that in spite of it being woke and cringe.

He's said this over and over again. I don't know why people keep trying to use this as a "gotcha" to prove he's a hypocrite, he's not.

No one is at the moment, the thing at the moment now is all the anti-woke grifters and content creators refuse to say anything about Kingdom Come 2 is woke. They all say it has zero wokeness and player choice trumps all.

Making straight characters gay and a story critical unkillable ahistorical niggers and a Jewish quarter that doesn't exist and exists solely so you can save Jews from a pogrom isn't woke apparently. On the other hand Veilguard's optional character creation, optional trans choice, and the mandatory non binary character that you can let die is however the wokest game ever made.

People have different definitions of woke, but if your definition is only mandatory choices then you picked the dumbest definition possible.

It's almost kind of worse though isn't it? I didn't play Veilguard but I did watch the Synth video where he watches all the cutscenes and despite being absolutely stuffed with race/gender shit all the followers and npcs treat Rook with respect.

There's absolutely nothing like the never ending parade of humiliation and scorn that gets helped on Henry in Kangdom Cum 2.

Veilguard is gay and almost unbearablely cringe but it isn't anywhere close to as mean spirited and spiteful as KCD2 is.
