Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread - Might have an account here

So one person having a disenting opinon is fucking brigading? Incredible. You are exactly like the redditors you hate and what the fuck do you get off acting like some kind of a mob boss
in a span of like 4 days. this thread was nuked 3 times and a mod had to come here to clean up.
it got bad and this thread was unusable, people are still on edge with that nuke button.

if you feel the need to get mad at someone call Soycast gay and spam his DM's
he got on stream one time and he sounded black. he was talking about fucking a dog or something

There's a thing we like to call "ignore" if you click ignore their shit literally doesn't pop up. Idk how places like the politics thread has figured that one out but you guys haven't. It only became unusable cuz no one uses site features and kept interacting with them and would rather run to jannies instead of whatever.

Way easier to do that than wait for Jannie to sweep it up and then have like 30 pages of relevant content deleted too

Ignoring sounds like a cuck solution. Not to mention the entire premise behind noticing is to not ignore something.

Just ignore the propaganda and enjoy. Nah nuke em all

When you have to hit 'ignore' on like twelve different posters it still clearly constitutes a problem.

Shame that this series went to shit with 3. We really need more unapologetic 90s comics edgekino like Spawn or Witchblade. The Darkness (2) game needs a proper sequel too.
I miss early 2000s edge kino like you wouldn't fucking believe. I was playing Jak for nostalgia and I seriously miss that phase and was intensely sad we would probably never get a game like it again without it being slathered in irony, full of lesbians telling Jak and Daxter to check their privileges, etc;

I miss gravely voiced edgelord power fantasies.

Also, why the fuck is he playing 7/10 derivative shit like Darksiders when there's probably hundreds of other games more deserving of your time?
It's a formative game for his edgesona.
>Kamiya
>W101 becoming troon core
That faggot sold his soul to his jewish overlords parroting idpol bullshit, oh and he's a tranny chaser

That's Sphere Hunter's ex-"girl"friend btw. It's all connected.

It's an actual bad game trust me on this. DMC2 feels like absolute shit to play, they fucked it up.
I replayed them all fairly recently. DMC 4 & 5 are very beginner friendly thanks to Nero's moveset.
DMC 1 is obviously dated, but it's a very cool setting and it's interesting to see how it combined RE and Castlevania to create a new genre. The only other similar game I can think would be Onimusha.
DMC 2 is just a tedious and boring shooter with a memorable (hermaphrodite?!) final boss.
DMC 3 is the mostly fondly remembered for a reason, but it has a very dull grey look to it and it's too technical for newcomers.
Controversial opinion, but DmC Definitive Edition is a great introduction to this type of game for newcomers since it simplifies things a lot and it has some very neat levels, unless you care about characterization.

Also Binary Domain is on PC, I don't know why you guys are talking about Kinect.

I think they are referring to the voice activation feature which is notoriously bad. In a fun way I think

I'd say Revengence is a lot better to recommend someone over DmC for their first (action) game
it's not too crazy with its combos, the main mechanic of slicing people in half is easy to get the appeal and the vertical slice is instant, like within minutes you're fighting a metal gear with the iconic meme music blasting.

the only thing I can say DmC did good is the Must Style mode, everything else was them making sure they appeal to the people who they hated while making it. (DMC fans) you know, stuff like walking back on color coded enemies, adding manual targeting, they gave up and just went "fine we'll make it like DMC" it's still not a good place to start. it's like if I recommended the Evil dead remake over Evil dead 2, you're just going out of your way to have a worse time for no reason.

I don't know, I could never get into Revengeance, it always felt like it was having an identity crisis when I wasn't killing shit. The parry takes some getting used to.
Definitive Edition has 2 different dedicated buttons for dodging that you can alternate between depending on your expertise, plus the parry options you can use if you're more advanced. It also fixes the colored enemies shit that was in the PS3 version and it adds a lock-on. And it's a pretty decent platformer in between the action arenas.

What sucks is that putting people on ignore means I still have to see people replying to them and I can usually parse what they are trying to say, also I think if an ignored user pings you, you still get the notification.

I only have 2 people on ignore, both predate this thread by a couple years. Sadly they are both prolific posters that seem to show up almost everywhere. And no, HHH is not one of them.

it's just (whatever direction the attack is coming come)
light attack.

and yes, that's a key reason why people play this specific sub genre of every (action) game, the entire game is focused on you killing/fighting dudes, when you are not killing/fighting dudes, it's not going to be fun, want to know why? fighting/killing is where all of the effort went into.
that's just the characteristics of the genre,

want to know the appeal to a games like DMC, MGR, bayo, W101, Godhand ECT?
learning the combat and trying style on niggaz/Trying for a perfect rank
everything besides the combat doesn't matter in the gameplay,
no, this genre isn't for everyone.

imagine if I said there was too much reading in planescape torment
"nigga, if you don't like reading why are you playing planescape torment?"
same energy.
