So on April Fool's Day, Adult Swim decided to air the first episode of Rick and Morty S3, and there was this recurring joke about some Mulan Szechuan sauce that had a limited run about 18 years ago.
And now it's become quite a phenomenon.
So... has anyone tried it? Is it good? Is it worth it, to bring it back?
The easiest way to do it is apparently combining Sweet and Spicy sauce and Tangy BBQ, but the best way is that Redditor's method that's mentioned in the video.
So what is this like a General Tso's sauce? Because General Tso Sauce Mchnuggets would be probably as amazing as the legends I've heard of the UK's Curry Sauce.

If I recall perhaps it was like sweet sour + BBQ sauce, which sound amazing. But I may be mistaking it with another one of McDonalds ancient and now lost wonder sauces.
I was a kid and very much into Mulan when it came out, but I don't think I ever tried the sauce. I was pretty much stuck on honey sauce as a kid and anything else at McDonald's was unacceptable.
I can seriously see McDonald's doing something to bring it back though if there's enough hype. If they do, they really just need to not beat around the bush and just call it "Rick Sauce" though.

My sister brought me up this the other day: so McDonald's is somewhat considering bringing it back, there's a live-action Mulan film coming up next year, come to think of it this would be the perfect opportunity to bring the sauce back.
