So... It's actually about ethics in games journalism?

Also, way to prove her point Dave. She called you out on being a harasser who tries to get other people cancelled, and now you're trying to do it to her.

On one hand, this is incredibly sus, to use the slang term.

On the other, holy shit watching them wig out when someone airs their dirty laundry is glorious.
This is the exact same thing that caused Gamergate in the first place. Goons being retarded and then being the vile psychos they happily accuse others of being. All triggered by someone willing to break the omerta.

I'm absolute ignoramus when it comes to academia so I'll appreciate correction but nothing unethical seems to be in screenshots. For the rest, there's only Dave's word, and what's in screenshots doesn't really add up, especially with screenshot that claims Weisman was "muckracking" - it seems that particular mail is just confirming when to get on voice call, which medium to use, and warning that there may be some issues due to Weisman not being good with software. Doesn't look like there's any deflection or "we must talk about it via voice" like Dave claims.

I'm not sure why you're reposting the link to the archive when I was talking about the article on Medium.

You would think he'd be glad it was deleted so soon instead of bringing attention to it with flimsy "proof" when the article was about that very specific thing. But I guess if he had enough sense for that he would have also had enough sense to not troon out.

Maybe a Gor campaign setting wouldn’t be the worst thing to put out.

Funny thing is, Gor already has an official RPG series. Just like the books, women are the biggest fans of it. Michael Moorcock is still a prototype SJW male feminist who tried to get Gor banned to protect women who like the Gor books long before cancel culture a term. Elric of Melnibone has now and always been an Emo faggot. Anyone who agrees with Micheal Moorcock that the Witcher ripped off Eric is a fanboy that likes the lulzcow Razorfist.

Oh, Gor. I remember being part of the Eternal September wave of mediocrity that hit the internet with a fresh AOL CD and browsing chatrooms and wondering "what the fuck is a Gor?" before innocently clicking to enter and getting an observational crash course education on a group of people that were even hornier than my dumb teenage ass. I still don't get it, those BDSM lifestyles just seem like more of a chore than anything sexy.

And while Morecock is a massive fucking faggot, I still dig his work. Black Blade and Veteran of the Psychic Wars by BOC were fucking great.

If you remove all the kinky shit from Gor. You still get descent Conan the barbarian ripoff. If anything Gor might’ve been a mainstream hit if it didn’t have all the BDSM stuff.

Actually rips more off from Barsoom (Princess of Mars, Gods of Mars, etc.) than Conan. It's why they go to another planet and why the first book from what I recall was actually more serious, since it was an attempt to make a realpeople pulp adventure.

Then it flopped and he doubled down on the BDSM shit since that was what all they were talking about. Either that or his coombrain destroyed him. Either or tbh.

A bunch of authors hate the Gor guy apparently he was a massive prick.
It was also one of the earliest franchises that had a fandom that was all about coom. That's so normal these days that it's barely even remarkable, but at the time it was. Goreans were the equivalent of furries in the '70s or so with their ubiquity and obnoxious flaunting of their preversions.

Moorcock is a giant autist (he thought Heinlein was a literal Nazi and his "Starship Stormtroopers" article in New Worlds or wherever is the source of a lot of leftist hatred of RAH), but he was right about Goreans, as quaint and harmless as they seem now in comparison to current trends in degeneracy.

A common refrain from frog poasters is that the left is more correct than the right but for the wrong reasons.

Goreans were generally ridiculed at the time and the few remotely good Gorshit books were the early ones before it just became pure gooning material. Amazingly they're still coming out with the dude 92 years old and I doubt his dick has worked in decades. I'm also skeptical that he has even been writing them himself for a long time.

Anyway, the main problem with Goreans is they're lame and cringe and mostly look like the kind of people you'd find in polycules.

It's hard to know for sure. Because he's persona non grata, saying he's bad is an easy way for a certain group of people to virtue signal.
Fair enough, I can dig up the posts and post them in SWFA thread if youre really interested, how ever this is a ttrpg thread so its time to talk about TTRPGs.

I've been looking for a GURPs group and its impossible to find, plus there doesn't seem to be readily accessible stuff online for gurps like there is for DnD.
