I need to think through my conflicted feelings on the matter right now. This may be a double post but it's been weeks since, so I have to ask...
After what we just found out, what's going to happen to this project? Is it going to get as killed as Chris's chances of going to another convention again?
To be honest, the emotion I feel strongest right now is betrayal. I feel like Chris betrayed me and Geno and Don Lashomb and GiBi and everyone who's ever been a Christorian. Three years of work is worthless now. I want to smack Chris across the face and I want to put Barb in a blender. Above all other emotions, I am angry right now.
I was working on the next section of 24.1 but now I've decided to sleep on it for a month or two. I want to see where the fallout lands. Admittedly, I've had thoughts about calling it quits on TAS since I finished Sonichu 10 (the last issue people really care about), but I've stuck with it because I'm scared that my successor would be an A-Log, and that's only grown truer since these recent revelations. I feel like I have to cling to the project to protect the sanctity of the Annotated Sonichu label. I have decided I'm no longer comfortable working on Ghost in the Machine, so I'll be posting the rest of my outline sometime this week, for those of you curious to see what the rest of the story would be. The Story of Sonichu video is a done deal, there's no way I could have known about this in March 2020, so I will leave it up, albeit with filtered comments.
I just want to give you guys another thanks for sticking with me this far. This might not be a storm we weather, so it's really important to say that. I do hope you all will continue to follow my future works on YouTube; you guys got me started, and no matter what Chris does I will always hold a nostalgia for this thread and you guys.
