You rarely see a setting in recent times that tries to address the issue of divergent physiology for near-human or non-human species, but the concept is fascinating at its core, like seeing the differences that form between related real world cultures. How would their fashion be affected by the differences in their build? What sort of allowances would be made from a host country for the sake of a sizable near-human population with, say, functional tails or wings? Going even further, what kind of complications would arise if cross-species relationships weren't barren (because someone will fuck it, no questions asked)?

Most of this is fantasy, and as such is meant to be entertaining first and address such complications later, if ever at all.
