You really don't deserve their shit Tena. At least you're not a part of their bullshit anymore while they're stuck in a holding pattern because this is really the peak of their life.

I'm going to say for the record that I actually misunderstood the situation, and they weren't trying to blame me for anything after all. Take that as you will, as I know defending people in these threads is unwelcome, but I just wanted to clarify nonetheless.

They really aren't bad people. Social media in general can bring out the worst in all of us, especially because you can be made to feel important, and get more attention than one normally receives in real life.

Building communities around being opposed to something tends to collect a wider range of opinions and identities. There's a lot of kinds of people that can be opposed to the sjw fad that began kicking on tumblr a few years ago, but only a few types of people that can be all for it. The balance of the anti side works as long as the thing they're arguing against is active enough to pose a solid "threat." Once the fight dies down though, everyone starts realizing how different they are from each other, and that building friendships solely based on opposition to 14 year old pastel bloggers who send death threats over which cartoon characters kiss is a bit of a precarious balance.

Being angry is addictive. I used to be a mutual of his on tumblr and (I think) twitter around 2015/2016. He wasn't always this bad. He didn't go out of his way to pick fights, quote retweet strangers to call them fat and ugly, and constantly go on long-ass rants about how angry he is. But he just kept getting worse.

Some people notice the "go out of your way to look at and respond to dumb shit" impulse is unhealthy and makes them feel bad and decide to mellow out, but others like Trill just keep riding that dopamine high until they end up like this. The saddest part is that there's people who actually make bank for this type of thing but Trill is boiling his brain for free.

So he typed out that the people he's complaining about have to let everyone know how angry they are about social issues without realizing he is one and the same as them.

It doesn't matter the ideology, the only people you'll find on tumblr are the ones who love going on angry screeds about things that offend them. Everyone else left in disgust a while ago, especially since there's nobody on tumblr just there for porn now.
