So, in 2016 New York decided to up their minimum wage gradually to $15 an hour, starting with regional rises. Since we doxed Satsuki, we know she lives in Long Island which is in a region that was raised to $10/hr. I decided to use a more conservative number, $9.70/hr, which is the basic minimum wage for the rest of the state for my calculations.
I used this site for calculation, which I have used in the past for myself and it gave a rather near perfect estimate for my paychecks so it's relatively reliable at the least. So... I figure the average 20 hours high school students are legally allowed to work would be sufficient because honestly, if high school kids can do it, she can too.
