I'm more surprised anyone on Tumblr knows what Ib is to make a meme about it than the fact that Takashi got assmad about a meme about it, honestly.
(All these games are good in their own ways but their 'fandoms' are absolute garbage, except Ib which I didn't think HAD a fandom. Until now it seems.)

The person who made the fan translation was a Tumblr user, so it did have a fandom there for a while. It was relatively tame iirc.

Considering all those posts he's been reblogging about the possibility of certain fictional characters' bisexuality (flashbacks to the pharmercy/gency tumblr discourse), this doesn't come off as a surprise to me.

Some "anti-sjw" drama... child-protective-services/manfredvonfuckyourself (blog private) has been involved in some drama.
Here's a post with details. Apparently he accepted and posted (suggestive if not pornographic) pictures from minors, sent one of them NSFW pictures of his ex-friend, constantly bothers some of his younger followers for pictures and is just generally creepy.
The ex-friend mentioned in the previous sentence is I think this person (link contains chatlogs of manfred admitting to sending out the pictures).
Takashi's reblogged from him in the past but I've no idea if they're friends, or if he's said anything about this. But there are people defending him of course.
Jetpack-jenny (previously jetpack-jonny) is another obnoxious anti-SJW who's been around for a while. I remember s/he as the kind of person who would reblog posts just to add "OP confirmed retard", though that was a while back now. They have a diaper fetish and will argue with people about how DDLG is perfectly fine, so that's... nice? I'd look through the blog for more details, but I don't feel like vomiting today.
No current drama with them, I just remembered some people were laughing about that.

I think it's more a situation that they have mutual followers, but I don't think the 2 are friends. IIRC, manfred was laughing/joking along when Taka got this thread.
Not defending him, but Manfred's pretty much always been like this. I'm just surprised by how long it's taken for anyone to finally say something about it. He's not so much an anti-sjw, more a general lewd jerk with a sense of humor most anti-sjws seemed to like for a while.

He does this a lot actually. I don't think it qualifies as lolcow behavior because it's not inconsistent with his views or other behavior. He may be reblogging scams but he also doesn't call out people for being scammers, as far as I can tell anyway.

He's been super careful not to have regular all caps chimpouts since this thread died down. His reblogging of e-begging is completely in character, as is his not calling out any that may be scams. He has other accounts outside Tumblr that you can look at, like his KYM account, or his derpibooru. But other than that, until there's legit drama around him or his friends (primarily the known scammer Veronica Eromosele aka Satsuki), this thread's pretty dead.
He tends to keep his spergouts minimal and over on KYM (though he may have accounts elsewhere that we have't found.)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought it was a parody. I've tried talking to takashi about enabling these kinds of posts, but I still think his heart is in the right place. He's just a bit too naive and optimistic for his own good sometimes.
