Talent whose careers didn't really go anywhere

I knew about the record deal too... I just think its hilarious that Will Smith, a man whose name at one point guaranteed your movie would top the box office, who has charisma coming oozing out of him...

Nearly spent every dime he had trying to buy his worthless kids careers because they lacked the talent to earn one. And will have to spend the next decade saying yes to every script offered to him for the paychecks, Nicholas Cage-style.
Uncle Phil would be disappointed if he were still with us today...

Erik Von Detten is now in real estate iirc....

The little girl who played Madeline in the live action film. She fell off the face of the earth apparently.
Worse. She is an Esjaydubbya of the worst kind.
That's one of those "fun facts" that isn't even actually fun because everybody already knows that Will Smith's kids are shitty and share none of his talent. (They might have inherited the lack of talent from their shitty scientologist mom, or maybe not.)

It is very true that Will used his contacts to get son a failed movie career, but you may have forgot he also used them to get his daughter a failed record contract.. (and she isn't any more talented than her brother is...)
I remember seeing that music video by complete accident at some ungodly hour of the morning, years ago. I thought I hallucinated it until now.

Elijah Wood. Love the guy but he stopped getting work after calling out the pedo problem in Hollywood.
He is doing pretty good, just more of a producer now. His company SpectreVision did movies like Mandy, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and Color Out of Space. Seems many actors just change to go more behind the scenes later on or they just make as much money as they wanted and retire.

Granted, some would say The Lord of The Rings trilogy is a tough act to follow.

Her name's Mara something IIRC. Some of the people I follow on Twitter randomly retweet her shit: usually SocJus spergery and such. Total washed-up actress who got real ugly once her childhood cuteness wore off, now she relies on convention autographs for money.

Hattie Jones?....

Madeline not Matilda lmao

My bad: I got the movie names mixed up. But still, on that subject, yes, the actress from Matilda is also a washed-up insufferable TDS sperg.

Oh yes I am aware of her TDS
You know Liberals always talk about how wash up actors become Trump supporters. That's not necessarily true. I can name a top of my head of wash up actors who are big SJWs. Such as Maria Wilson, Alyssa Milano, Alec Baldwin (seriously other than playing Trump on SNL the dude has been in noting recently), Debra messing, Geroge Taki. Seriously there are plenty of wash ups who are liberal.

Exactly. Hell, I've watched some various 80's movies and then afterwards Googled the names of the actors to see what they're up to, and often they're old, miserable, and constantly ranting about Trump on Twitter. I few years ago I watched Pet Sematary for the 1st time since I was a kid, and I looked up what the mom is doing (I forget her name -- she had short blonde hair and used to be kinda hot) and discovered she'd hit a brick wall with age and would bitch about muh Orange Man on Twitter. That's just the tip of the iceberg. A lot of the people you mentioned (especially George Takei) are basically only famous FOR being washed-up and not doing anything relevant since their heydays. I'd even argue that Takei especially is probably only famous for being famous, and his whole novelty is that he's a gay old Asian guy who was briefly relevant in the 60's. In fact, that's basically the only reason why he was a Howard Stern guest for so long. His only claim to fame was token Asian character on OG Star Trek, and literally everything else is a self-deprecating joke role based on that. At least Shatner and Nimoy did other stuff outside of Star Trek, which is definitely more than what you can say about Mark Hamill.

Exactly when liberals make fun of Kevin Sorbo, Scott Baio, Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson for surpporting Trump. they are noting but hypocrites. Since the same people I am talking about have legit praise Holly Marie Combs, Geroge Taki, Lucy Lawless and Walter Koenig for "ripping" or "owning" orange man hell they were fucking praising Lucy Lawless for being a bitch and insulting Sorbo just because of his political views (which is scummy as hell, when you remmber Sorbo show is what made her popular in the first place"). Trust me SJWs will laugh at the "wash ups" surpporting Trump. But when it comes to a wash up who is on their side there praised them in a heart beat for just ranting about orange man or anyone who supports him.

Honeslty I think sometimes said SJWs are just butthurt fans of said conservative actors and are just upset that they didn't hate orange man like they did.

Hell they call fucking Jon Voight a wash up despite the man having a long ass successful career who won a Oscar and is 82 years old. He is not a wash up, he's just at a point where he can choose the roles he wants to do. wasn't he on a show that ended not too long a go. I say that's better than Taki being only known for Star Trek and Alyssa Milano who only awareds she won were nickledon blips.

As far as I know he doesn't have TDS either.
He does, actually. He's not an SJW or anything like that, but he's just a normie Democrat, a Biden/Obama shill, and has taken popshots at Trump's relatives on Twitter. I forget the specifics of the story, but a few years or so ago there was some controversy where someone like Ivanka Trump or one of Trump's other relatives dressed up as Princess Leia for Halloween and tweeted at Mark Hamill, and he replied with vitriol and insults (and was applauded by left wing hate mob on social media).

It happens fairly often. You see instances where a GOP politician like Ted Cruz tweets at some random celebrity with a joke or a reference to one of their movies/shows, and the celebrity responds with a "Shut the fuck up, fascist, and stop consuming my media" and gets 100k likes and the front page of Reddit.

Christ. What a bunch of stupid cunts. I've been seeing a lot of people like that pop up where they want to look good so they act high and mighty by disapproving of silly stuff. Nothing more sickening. I'm surprised Mark Hamill would do shit like that, and it really knocks him down a peg from the image I had of him.

Most of the cast of the original Kingdom Hearts is full of these types of "coulda beens" from the late 90's and early 2000's.

The voice cast includes Hayden Panettierre, Mandy Moore, Rachel Leigh Cook, Lance Bass, Billy Zane, Christy Carlson Romano, David Gallagher, and Haley Joel Osment among others.

As I mentioned before, the downfall of Neill Blomkamp bums me out, his whole style of shooting sci fi stuff in a gritty documentary realism way was mind blowing, but while Elysium had a lot of interesting ideas and visuals (something about the idea of LA in 150 years in some ways not really looking any different than today is I feel a shockingly on point take on "the future" that I've never really seen anyone else do) he wasn't really able to come up with a script that really worked.

And even I didn't bother with Chappie, last I heard he tried to make his own sequel to Aliens but that never got off the ground.

The downfall of Will Smith is definitely a sad one, he had so much charisma and decent actual acting chops (going by The Pursuit of Happyness) but then he pissed it all away by trying to make his kids into stars.

The question on my mind is why, why was making his kids stars so important to him?

The Pursuit of Happyness and it's message is especially incredible to look back on today almost 15 years later.

I was going to mention Haley Joel Osment myself.

It's crazy to think there was a time in which Square was so big they could hire actual "Hollywood" talent for their games or movies at a time when some Japanese developers were still using borderline Resident Evil 1 caliber voice acting.

Most of these Hollywood people become so bitter because Hollywood has made them this way. For them, we all live in the same world they live, a universe where sex abuse, drugs, racism, and other pests are a common occurrence every day. I'm not saying it doesn't happen IRL outside Hollywood, but it happens more often there to the point it's the norm. So, of course Trump is such a "trigger" for them. It's like a confirmation that the whole country, not only their work environment is fucked.

And, on top of this, this industry that has abused, used, exploited them, throws them away after they aren't profitable. That's why they can't connect with an average Joe who's built a small family business and still can manage it at 80s.

To be on topic, I'd say that most of the Breakfast's Club didn't do much after the movie, except minor roles.

Also Dave Faustino. Fairuza Balk too.
