I'm convinced it's just something he drew to hold people over on thinking there'd be an SU video soon. This was posted at the very beginning of May. The second crossover hadn't even happened yet. (Which she wasn't in at all.) It's also just stylistically way different than he has ever drawn her before.

I am afraid of this too. Though the SU half of the crossover was just like how it left off. And I think it’s been established that the MLP yuri Tamers is the same as SU Tamers, those at least have less of the faggy melodrama and more humor/slice-of-life.

If it's not a one off special and we're getting more su episodes, it's more likely that the cohesive plot lines and romance will be kept to a minimum, as now both of them have an outlet for that with mlp and dw

I doubt anyone could fuck up Bardonic. Their love is already perfect and pure (can you push back the sun, go back in time, and save equi*stria by fucking your bitch? No, I dont think so, bitch). Therefore the only person that can really add drama would be Sonic, but Sonic is permanently Bartleby's bitch and so Sonic will NOT look at other guys (not like they can compare to Bartleby anyways). And if anyone even THINKS about stealing Bartelby away from Sonic, he will more than likely sit on their heads and have their heads pop like grapes (Mandy and Cindy)

I understand it now, the magic was never wholly within Tamers, it was within all of us. Like a chunky beef stew brewing within ones butt, it was there within all of us. That's my cope anyway. But goddamnit it's hard not to be somewhat excited for a new SU episode after the year and a half drought of no SU.

The kayfabe is dead. All those old discussions about whether or not Tamers is real or a troll, two Tamers theory, the decade old story arcs, and the incredible work ethic of one autist with incredible passion for an old niche Sonic cartoon are all dead at this point. The magic really is gone due to Tamers' own poor handling, but at the same time I just love the show he's created so much that I think I can still enjoy it.

The glory days are over, but even after all of this bullshit I still just love the Sonic Underground, bros

A good comparison to what some people might be feeling now is post car crash Deagal Nation.
Jace's whole character and bits he made were so funny, even people who questioned if everything was fake can get enjoyment out of
Deagal Nation
the difference here is that "Jace" the character got a satisfying ending.
he got in a real life car crash, immediately went "I must turn on a camera. and stay in character"
then had a whole stream retiring the character

Tamers whole thing got outed with no intention to make it entertaining for anyone.
the thing his whole character is known for is put aside for profit/views/lack of interest, then comes back when it's confirmed
it's a group effort kind of deal. I would had preferred Tamers getting an ending like Jace did.

It doesn't even have to be a car crash, just go to the woods, say his mom kicked him out and he'll be forming his own nation. never to be seen again.
anything is better than pretending nothing has changed, that's not to say I wouldn't want to see more SU, but I would understand
"Tamers12345 is lost in the woods, finding his own nation" instead of me getting annoyed with whatever new non-SU shit gets made.

I wasn't around for Deagle Nation so I don't know much outside of the most famous parts, but wasn't Jace an intentional character being played for laughs? I think the big difference is that Tamers never intentionally meant to be Tamers, it just kind of happened over time. His early stuff is pretty unironic, and over time he leaned into that character. He didn't intend to quit SU, he just made the MLP crossover and had fun so he kept making more until it got out of hand. He didn't intend for whatever the hell happened with that brief breakup, but it did. The whole thing has been completely unplanned so there's been no offramp for him to end the character of Tamers.

I sometimes wonder if it would have been better if he had made a final SU video where he announced he was ending SU, retiring the character of Tamers, and moving to his new channel JohnSmithAnimates to do new series like MLP and others, but it would have broken kayfabe too. I've just accepted this probably would've happened eventually anyway, so I might as well enjoy his new stuff if it looks like the video will be any good. Old Tamers is still in there, and lately the stuff with Tirek and his group have felt pretty close to SU's style.

Anyway tomorrow I will be ordering the finest Little Caesars has to offer to dine on during Bartleby's glorious return.

it's far better for a character bit to end on a high note, on their own terms, than it is to keep dragging out that character as long as possible.

tell me with a straight face that OG era Tamers would at all give SU a year long break in favor of roblox shit, and ponys,
at that point just kill off the character for while. you know how you communicate "I'm tired of making SU right now" to an audience?
make an arc where Tamers is homeless, never to be seen again while you work on other shit. then once you got that gay shit out of your system
do a comeback arc.

Jace knew when to ends things, when he retired the character he did try to do other characters, but they were never as good as jace,
it would had been much worse if he decided to keep the Jace character alive and morph it into something it's not.
Tamers being the driving force to SU is a big enjoyment factor to SU, having a whole ass year of "another "tamers" video that isn't SU? pass"
just killed half of why I even liked the whole bit to begin with.

He’s always had the ‘tism, but was self-aware for most of his time making content. It wasn’t until the MLP shit blew up and his audience started to grow even more that the character of Tamers started to slowly fade away. And while he still puts on the guy with the funny voice and Bartleby costume we now know two people are behind the show from that weird brief drama that happened a few weeks ago.

EDIT: Episode is up. LET’S FUCKING GO. Missed that beautiful face.
