It's a good episode, but it's crazy such a Manic-centric episode did not have Mindy in it at all.

NEW ROBOTNIK APPEARANCE AFTER OVER A YEAR

Luckily this is a purely SU one with no sudden switches pulled, thank God.
Though it might not have been quite as sharply witty as pre-pony Tamers, it didn't feel like it lost the spark either. This one still had fun moments like a sudden Michael Jackson appearance.
Now lets hope SU isn't shelved again for an eternity.

I felt like the beginning was too fast paced but it slowed down after a couple minutes. I really really hope this is the beginning of a return to SU and not just a one-off. The random fistfight between Santa and Michael Jackson over a child they both wanted to kidnap was really funny

The pacing of the jokes were good, some of them caught me off-guard. Narrative went a bit all over the place, like he was trying to put in as much stuff as possible in 22 minutes, but there was a guiding thread with Uncle Chuck's trailer and the ending going full circle. This didn't feel, or look, like his vivziepop adjacent MLP. Very welcoming.

You don't get this level of absurdism in mlp and dw, by far the funniest episode out of all 3 2025 christmas special. the abrupte fistfights never get old
It was only 22 minutes. It seems really unlikely we will have to wait very long for more SU.
there's hope, he has stated in the past that mlp frames take 3-5 times as long. I can see a sonic underground episode being squeezed here and there.

The whiplash is definitely a feature. Uncle Chuck can go from feeling guilty to punching his sister in an instant.

There was definitely a feeling of trying to put in as many characters as he could for the big return, but the last thing I would have expected was the return of Batman and Robin and I almost cheered when Michael Jackson showed up. 10/10 kino, cinema, and should be a Christmas classic in every household

I'm crying, bros... My cold dead heart has felt the warmth of Sonic Underground...

Pony fags give Tamers their SSI checks so him. That's the only reason I can wrap my head around.
Yeah, it's a money thing. If you look at his Patreon before and after the pony stuff, its pretty obvious what his motivation is. Dandy was an even bigger hit, especially on other platforms. I'm not sure I blame him, tbqf. Still, it's good to know it's all Taqiyya. In the depths of his heart, there remains an unshakable love for SU

I kinda blame him just because of how poorly he's handled SU's disappearance- that and if it was two people all along, why not have it be one Tamers brings in the dough and one Tamers does the fat juicy pleasure of giving the world more Bardonic? I will say it's hard to hate Tamers, especially after he's proven he's still got the touch for SU episodes, and I think really my problems with the MLP Tamers will always be that it's attracted the most selfish and annoying faggots to've ever walked this Earth.
