You have to create a deck of cards, and you need an amount of them (number), a category (suit), and maybe special tokens (e.g: Joker card). What would you make it of?

You can also share existing ones that you find interesting from other countries, like for example, the "usual" one in the US (I believe) is the French with spades, diamonds, clovers and hearts, but somewhere else they might use something different. If you feel like another total quantity is better for X game (like instead of having 40 or 52 cards, maybe 60/whatever), feel free to say.

Each suit doesn't have to be comprised by all/mostly of digits (like 1, 2, 3, 4... of spades), maybe one could be made of more creative figures (like King, Queen, Jack, or I don't know, Lich, Sorcerer, Witch, etc). Since all can be effectively substituted by a numeric value, this is mostly aesthetic, but it can also spark ideas in order to create a new game.

Can also be a Tarot style deck, so instead of (devil, magician, tower, star, justice, empress, etc) you can find another elements, motifs, or whatever you think that's good, (there is already another thread about lolcow cards by the way).

My idea for example could be to make one out of the seven deadly sins, so 7 suits already that have potential to have their own effects in a game.

This is mostly for inspiration.

I'm not a fat, white girl so I don't know.
I once worked with a (not fat) Taiwanese chick that was into tarrots. She tried it on me once and her reading basically came out to me being a good person with high sexual energy that will have many good things happen to me in the future.

... i think she just wanted to fuck me badly even though she was already married to a jew.

I’d have to think for a while to come up with a whole deck, but no collection of cards is complete without the essential.

My only experience with tarot card was a friend reading my fortune. Acording to him it was one of the worst posible configurations that anyone could have and that he had seen. I think it was the 3, 2 and 1 of spades but I don't remember the order.

Now, if I had to make a set of cards I would make them about the ten Sefirot from the Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), what they represent and probably fit them into some sort of simple game format. I'm not too much into the Kabbalah, but I found the concept of the Sefirot interesting.
I have clearly been playing too much Library of Ruina and reading too much into the Sefirot.
