These new ones make me want to back out... he's clearly admitting he's got a problem, and I don't mean to ween but I'm also worried he's probably loaded coming back on the road and all.

But he's got this whole kinda hippy groove going on with his problems, oh man sure I'll cook my liver but who cares I'll be in magic pony land, it's how I get things all sorted, it's all for the greater plan.

I did get a bit of a chuckle of the I want to trip balls but have to wait till my parents leave.

These comments are worrying me

There was a video he posted of him tripping on LSD. It was linked here.

At this point it probably doesnt matter whether people try mess with him or help him, he's so adamant with all this he probably wont ever change

That's what I've been saying.

After blabbing about alcohol for the first couple of minutes,
2:35 or so, "I always have alcohol on my mind. Can't go long without it. I don't think I'd be able to live without it.

I'm no expert, but I think this is one of those "ahdikshun" things people keep warning me about. Probably not that big a deal. Also, did he call alcohol his 'very close friend' there? Wow.

3:45 or so, "Hopefully before I have health problems, I'll be in Equestria and have a new body."

Oh my god. Really?

3:55 or so, "I'm gonna try not to drink throughout the weekend..."

Yay!

"...to save money for commissioning artists for art of Curio and me."

Oh. THAT'S your reason? Money issues? For the love of...

4:32 or so, "The only way I can keep myself focused on the days I don't drink is by drinking insane amounts of caffeine. You've gotta replace one subject with another."

Urgh...

5:00 or so, "I was about to say something, but I decided not to because public."

Oh my god, HE HAS A FILTER, YOU GUYS. IT'S A MIRACLE! Now it just needs to develop a little more and maybe he can avoid sounding so nuts in general.

6:29 or so, "Salvia! I want to experiment with Salvia."

I've heard that drug isn't exactly for people with a weak constitution. He goes on to talk about a bunch of drugs after this.

8:40 or so, "Lemme see if there's medicinal marijuana in Indiana. Maybe I can talk to some people and get me a prescription."

I wonder how far he'll go with trying to convince people he needs it.

9:02 or so, "Again, worried about the collapse. It's coming, it's coming..."

He's worried some massive economic collapse will happen and wipe out all his family's savings, but is thankful to be living with his mother. At 27. I'm really not sure what to say to that.

9:40 or so, "I used to have friends who would offer to let me move in with them, but they've since rescinded their offers. No one wants to live with someone as 'unstable' as Taxxy."

While watching this it occurred to me that I just wanted to give this guy a hug... but then I remembered I don't. This is so damn sad.

10:45 or so, "California would be one of the worst places to live when the Happening happens."

Why? It's a coastline state, just rent a boat and stock it with food, go off shore for a little while, and come back when the plants stop making people do stupid things.

After some gabbing about environmental concerns, he says,
13:15 or so, "I'm stuck here in Indiana. I'm stuck here in Indiana! I'm stuck here in Indiana... ...I'm sure Jin would love to move out of the place he's stuck in, but I don't wanna live with him."

Hey, there's our favorite plushiehumper. I was wondering when he'd come up. Wow, it seems even Tax won't live with him. I wonder why. And if moving out is really that big a deal, and he's going to Equestria anyway, I wonder why Tax doesn't just spend money willy-nilly in order to get what he wants in what short time he believes he has left in the world?

14:45 or so, "But all of that is useless drivel meant to distract from the true purpose of what we should be doing, which is the Crossing the Boundary project. Curio will let me move in with him. I'll move in with my boyfriend."

He really doesn't talk much about Curio. The preceding fifteen minutes were all about politics and other worldly matters Tax thinks is going to happen. I wonder if he realizes how focused he is on all that.

15:00 or so, "Curio's got a really nice place. He lives on the second floor of his antiquity shop, and he's got a bed big enough for two stallions. Gonna snuggle up to him at night, and in the mornings."

After drinking some more of his alcohol,
15:50 or so, "It's not the best stuff. It's drinkable, but blah blah blah, blah blah, blah."

That was one minute or so of talking about Curio, or more specifically, about what Curio is going to do for little old Taxxy. One minute out of twenty. Well, at least he tried, right?

17:00 or so, "Hopefully Portalanon and I can do our interview tonight."

Finally going to hear from this Portalanon fellow.

17:50 or so, "If anybody is in the central Indiana area, maybe we could meet up and talk a little."

Looking to socialize with other people outside the internet... that's probably a good sign.

18:55 or so, "The people that alienate you, or leave you, or betray you are the ones who truly understand you on an intimate level."

I'm not sure he intended for this to come out this way, but it sounds like he's saying all the people who 'betrayed' him understood him. Which would pretty much be true; everyone who left left because they knew Tax wasn't going to change, and they knew the extent of Tax's misery and how pervasively it affected his forum and its members.

19:30 or so, "My only hope is to go to Equestria, and to start completely... anew."

*sigh*
0:00, Oh, he's drunk. Can tell right away. First frame, drunk.

1:50, "I'd rather be skinny, unlike those other fatass lard-os who blah blah blah."

I imagine some of his friends would take great offense to that.

I don't really want to keep watching this, but I'll tell you he just goes on about cars for a while and then some more drug talk, and then it ends.

This is pretty sad. What do all of you think of this?

Tax has been detrimentally going downhill, and these videos, especially the last one, seem to be turning into cries of help.

This is probably a thread for Lolcow General, but Taxy and Strikerwolf, and arguably Ahuviya/Isabel/whatever, are turning into sadcows more than anything else. This talk about how he doesn't need to be healthy because he'll have a new body in Equestria is some evangelical-Christian or even Heaven's Gate-tier shit (e.g. evangelicals not giving a shit about the environment because all of the correct denomination of fundies will be going to heaven soon anyway -- this was also how a college RA counseled me about my breaking a coffee cup that had tremendous sentimental value. Thanks, lady). It tells me he doesn't give a shit about being alive.

Holy shit, Tax is trying to do all the drugs.

He looks so much like this woman who I work with's son. I did a double take when he was in the office the other day.

I feel like this is pretty much tax right now, when he was talking about his friends leaving.

Pretty much. Sad, ain't it?

Sorry about your coffee cup.

Do ponies drink? Is there even alcohol in Equestria?

Oh, all the time. Ponies need something to counterbalance the schmultziness that goes on in Equestria, don't they? :P

Yeah, that can't be good.

Also, I love that song. It's a great song. Not sure it's fitting, though. I mean, that's an old man's epitaph and elderly reflection on a life gone by. This is a delusional ponylover who thinks the world is going to the crapper and has turned to drugs and alcohol in order to cope with his anxiety and paranoia. Really different things.

If there's one thing I can complement when it comes to people like these, it's just how much effort they put into fleshing out their delusions. He has some surprisingly complex rules, considering it's all a figment of his own mental illness. Like, he put some work into it, but to what end? For what purpose?

It has to be complex enough that he can fool himself with it. It's basically a mental construct he's interposing between himself and what he sees as an intolerable reality. It will inevitably come crashing down, though, and that's when he will either kill himself or start getting better.

Amazing Johnny Cash did that to that song while barely changing the lyrics at all.

Another less-known example of that is his cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus. He turns that song, which was an ironic mockery of modern media, into a sincere expression of his own personal faith, without changing a single word. Genius.

It's all in the inflection. A brilliant cover doesn't need to change much. I for one truly appreciate Cash's artistry... but I think we're getting a little off-topic here.

Curio's gonna throw his drunk ass out on the street, because Tax can't even get his fantasy relationships to work out.

Hey, yeah. No, uhh, no. His last relationship didn't work out because he was in denial that he's gay. Now that everything's perfect, and he's not in denial about anything at all, it'll work out just fine, I'm sure.

*coughs*

Yes, particularly when he starts talking about suicide at around the 11 minute mark. I was not previously aware that he had a suicide attempt in 2014 (painkillers and booze). He then says, "I'm up for it again. Who cares. Who cares anymore." Kind of grim. Talking about driving 110 miles per hour out in the Utah desert isn't very encouraging either. I did laugh, though, when he said at around the 7 minute mark "that shows that Sweden can do more than just getting cuckolded by, by immigrants and big black cock". Also at around 9:50 he starts ranting about glaciers and it's ridiculous.
