Over and above all that, one of the main active agents in Daturais Atropine which can basically cause your heart to work its self to death among other things. On the other side of the coin, its also what they give you if you heart is going to slow, or you've been nerve gassed.

I don't think you get it. Datura is the gateway to Equestria, with the mental hospital being our dimension's version of it. He can't bring back ponies though, mental patients will have to do.
