IBS, like any other "syndrome", is a set of symptoms, not a disorder in itself. It just means you are prone to diarrhoea. It can be caused by IBD, gall bladder problems, food allergies, or a thousand other things including psychological factors.

Is her IBS the source of her "immunocompromise"? I've missed it if she's claimed to have any specific illness besides that one and "long covid." Neither one of those things cause "immunocompromise" unless she somehow got a doc from one of those apps to prescribe her steroids or something- but then it's her substance misused causing it, not the disorder.

No, IBS has nothing to do with that. She hasn't mentioned medical illnesses she had afaik even though she's bitching about it daily.
My guess is that she has some sort of hypothyroidism or Autoimmune thyroiditis. Tuning thermostats up because she feels cold at human temperatures, Drinking lots of water because she's constipated, having to take life-saving medicine (levothyroxine) daily, being tired and wanting to work from bed, being a feeeemale, etc.
