Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

Substack is the obvious platform for her, where she could get more positive interactions. However her substack is over produced and just consists of her regular news articles, and all the comments are turned off.
She could get a Locals where you can only interact with her if you pay her. Or is that website too alt-right for her?

Taylor weighing in on the TechCrunch's article that's been getting shit on from all sides for claiming that curing disabilities is ableist and that MrBeast is basically the antichrist for helping the blind people that reached out to him.

as an addendum, disabled people who gatekeep other disabled people from getting their shit fixed are cunts, i know the deaf community are pretty egregious when it comes to people getting cochlear implants and the amount of people that use ASL is thinning out (while also getting mad about non-deaf people learning ASL) but apparently the deaf community has a faggot like Steven Aquino to represent them.
This whole disability arc reminds me of Michael Scott burning his foot on a George Foreman grill.

She's blocked too many people, and disabling replies on her tweets is stopping people that would be inclined to support her from interacting with her. The Twitter algorithm is basically fucking her, and for someone so addicted to it, that's got to hurt.

She seems to be getting to the point that a lot of lolcow's get, where she's addicted to negative interactions with people.
Leaving comments up whether or not they're positive will always help people out no matter the platform because they're all considered to be impressions. Impressions are what you want. If you leave those off then all you have is ads and if people are smart they use adblockers nowadays and turn off scripts. This means she's removing more than the typical 40% of impressions content can make. So she's losing money by being retarded in a business sense. No one likes it when a creator turns off comments because it means the creator doesn't care about the viewers/ readers input and will often never go back to that channel/ site. I'm sure there is some stupid fool that would moderate her comment section for free but I think you have to do all of that yourself as it doesn't allow for multiple people on your account from what I've seen. I could be wrong, I'm new that platform.

If Taylor actually knew anything about technology like how she's paid to be, she would have set up her ownsite with Wordpress and use that as her CMS. She would have better control over her content and comment section so her delicate ego wouldn't be damage. However, being an failure in life she wanted to go where others of her ilk have gone to not really understanding the limitations it has for someone who freaks out over Twitter messages and has to DFE every few weeks if not everyday. Substack is fine to start off with, but eventually you'll want more out of your content creation so Wordpress is the way to go after you build up a sizable subscriber count. If you don't want to be found by retards online looking to dox the shit out of you there are some decent webhosting services out there.

Substack allows a lot of customization of a creators page, which Lorenz has used to turn hers into what looks like a tumblr blog (which is probably what she was aiming for). It's in complete contrast to a Substack like Bari Weiss's which is essentially a whole website (the domain isn't even a substack one).

Blocked and Reported' s comment section is one of the reasons they have so many paid subscribers because it's so active, and has a lot of quality posters.

If she had any sense she'd migrate to Substack now because the Post is going to get rid of her at some point. Sooner rather than later if her obvious mental health issues cause her to have a twitter melt down.

It's worth remembering that Lorenz was actually a talented writer, that at one point was growing a sizable audience with a demographic of wealthy social media obsessed types. Now she writes two articles a month for the Washington Post, that are really just stone cold takes on tech. The WaPo are never again going to allow her to do an investigative piece like the ones on Libs of Tik Tok, or write high profile Op/Ed pieces after she fucked up her article on the YouTubers covering the Depp trial. She seems to be just treading water.

BaR and Bari Weiss are popular because they are obvious leftists who don't agree with the woke bullshit.

For me, it's like "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"

What would Taylor offer that's not already out there?

"Why you should still wear a coof mask while riding in your car alone."

"Why you should still wear a coof mask while walking the dog on a leafy suburban street."

"Why you should still wear a coof mask while conceiving your next child."

I'm not going to pay for that shit.

Nobody would, because she’s too embarrassing to even be “cool” among the neoliberal elites

Also Bari Weiss and B&R both employ staff. B&R have some furry managing the comment section that keeps everything stoked up nice and hot. Their 'weekly post about whatever you want thread' attracts high quality content. That's really what people are paying for, not just to throw money at already wealthy people, for $5 you feel like you're getting a lot.

As for all that stuff about wearing a mask alone in your car, lesser writers than Taylor are making a good living from stuff like that. While people here obviously aren't going to want it, there definitely is a paying audience for it.

Also it's important to mention once again that Lorenz was actually a good writer, that had an excellent understanding of social media at a certain point of time. She was always a vindictive bitch, but one that got a lot of clicks and made a lot of money for otherwise struggling websites. When the WaPo hired her they probably rightly considered it to be a smart move.

Now she's had her mind broken by Covid, and Musk buying Twitter, and everybody is just holding their breath for her to have one huge meltdown.

Taylor got into an argument with a Socialist Sopranos Memes account.
