Her dad's also a rich dude who may or may not be funding the paper to cover up marketing shortages, dunno. He's probably the only reason she has a college degree.

Maybe I am wrong, but from what I can find, her father is not fuck you rich. And that's kind of what you need to be to be able to fund a journal. Having a few millions in the bank (even assuming he does, which he most likely does not because he is a property developer it seems?), is a drop in the bucket.

And assuming she was hired through nepotism, she burned herself for sure now with her statements. People who get hired through networking do so through like minded people. It's a bit more difficult when you shit on your previous employer in public.

I think there is no real conspiracy there. WaPo is absolute trash, and I am not surprised they saw potential in her. Turns out that, just like most people who actually run a business, they realized it was a mistake to have this kind of people on board. And the way she exits goes on to show by what magnitude.

This woman is making a ridicule of herself, and I am pretty happy to be witnessing it. Downfalls are always interesting, no matter how low they are falling from.
