Unless everyone's health is perfectly secure, no one's health is. Therefore, even the most far-fetched and ridiculous government-ordained restrictions are completely justified, and people should be punished for noncompliance. And what even is health? Is it a series of individual choices made by someone in consultation with their personal physician? No, because health doesn't actually exist! No shit health doesn't exist in a collective like, say the population of the US, because that collective necessarily includes all of the sick people. Calling that population a 'collective' and promoting policies that cater to the unwell members of that population at the expense of everyone else is deeply stupid.

Is that seriously her argument?

Not only is that her argument, there is also the implication that their (supposed) health woes are your fault because you didn't foot the bill.

Nothing is ever their fault, things just happen to them.

It was briefly a new risk in 2020, and one that could not really be mitigated like most older risks (like the flu), and it did really involve a terrifying death. I completely empathize with the terror any genuinely immunocompromised person felt at that time.

But then the vaccines came, and virtually all of those immunocompromised people were able to get them and most went back to their lives. But by that time, a smaller population of narcissists had discovered a fertile new source of attention and sympathy from well-meaning normies, and they weren't going to let advancing medicine take that away from them.

So now they spend their days pretending it's still mid-2020 and vaccines and treatment advances never happened, and (for most of them) pretending that the prednisone they're on or whatever mild health issue puts them in the same category as a chemo patient. Not realizing that their sympathy pool is rapidly drying up, because people were only ever sympathetic to those who were actually in mortal danger.

If the government has a responsibility to mandate population health, and health is a collective entity, should the government be mandating weight loss, and banning gender-reassignment surgery (which has absolutely terrible health outcomes and is perhaps the perfect example of capitalism deforming health care, by pushing the idea that every person in the population has something called a gender identity that, if incongruent, must then be treated with expensive drugs and surgeries)?

Oh, those don't count because they're not on your side of the culture wars? Weird.

Taylor literally doesn't care that if she had her way with everyone sealed into their houses for good that there would have been at minimum tens of millions of deaths from starvation and who knows what else. The entire supply chain that brings food to her mouth and whatever stockpile of pills she vacuums up doesn't exist as people in her mind. It may as well be magic. They saw COVID as an opportunity to finally force everyone who matters into the "proper" way of life (and dispose of the trash) and they'll never stop being upset that humanity and capitalism once against adjusted.

And this from a woman who already does not "go into work" as a shitty journalist whose office is her lizard terrarium.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just thoroughly sick and tired of retarded vermin like her having such unwarranted amounts of power and influence in Clown World.

I'm at the point where there is literally no possible evil that could befall her and her fellow worthless cretins that would garner a single iota of sympathy or pity from me.

Why hat a man for a casual observation of reality? These people are scum who would be in jail in any sane society. When they're not smearing people because they can't be fucked to do the slightest amount of research, or worse, know they're spreading lies, they are saber-rattling for wars in far-off lands so Raytheon and Lockheed Martin can make their line go up. Thieves and murderers, the lot of them.

At this point it's basically "I assume someone did or will" for a lot of them. Caught way too many of these people talking about all the hate they're getting "in my mentions" for something and there's like one reply that's maybe neutral. My favorite is when they get no hate anywhere public but post about how they did and they'll get 20 replies of "hugs" and "I'm so sorry" as if everyone involved doesn't know every part of this interaction is dishonest.
