Last year we had the bitter horror and laughter of the Motherfucker saga, this year we were brought to near sadness with the Keffals + journos + Liz Fong Jones twitter cabal trying to murder the site. Unlike the latest jail saga, we've been having a really fantastic past few weeks to make up for it. It's nice. Last year's big sava didn't offer as much closure for those responsible (but consequences for Chris were had and we had Gunt's Portugal adventures to cheer us up) so this year let's celebrate the little wins.

No the rule isn’t just for Mastodon. It’s for Facebook and Instagram too. No free promotion of competitors. I’m sure Elon is mostly doing this to hurt Mastodon though.

I’m sure people will figure out a self-explanatory way to direct people to Facebook and insta using a code. Like maybe a 📸 for Instagram and Face📕 for Facebook. Mastodon could be 🐘. KiwiFarms would be 🥝🚜.

I'm sure something negative will happen later, but for now, I will be happy and see the future as maybe. Our future happiness depends on what others do, but also how we perceive and what we do with it. We'll still watch guarded if those people who are getting attacked now are warning shots for something bad and prepare ourselves, but we can also celebrate a bit in the meantime. Stay realistic, but it's ok to be positive.

Make your future bright, chuds. Take action and keep a good perspective.

Anyone who could keep their AC at 90°F is absolutely not a human being. Anyone from the southeast of the U.S. knows that even in November it could be that hot outside. It's always kinda been garbage. It's just flipped from being about selling newspapers on the street corner to clicks. Yellow Journalism has been a term for a type of journalism we see now. I think it's gotten worse in that the internet makes it easier for more retards to be "journalists". But even during GWOT CNN was making shit up on air.
