It's due to hysterical shit heels like Taylor here that event organizers are still requiring masks and other theatrical measures in a veiled attempt "other" wrong-thinkers, and exclude them. It's tiring, and I have no hope at this point for the actual science to prevail with regards to mask usage in non-clinical settings (it's fucking useless).

They do change, it’s just that they base their opinions on what the rest of those on the JournoList think and believe. COVID was an easy example: they flipped from “hug a chink” to “we need to stay inside for the next four years except for the untermenschen who drop off my Amazon packages and avocado toast.”
It’s because they fantasize that they will have throngs of people begging them to stay. Then they get hurt by this self-inflicted narc injury and crawl back to Twitter (or wherever) and pretend their last flounce never happened. Taylor is in a mid credibility spiral where she is likely to become a Kurt Eichenwald type who was “respectable” to journoscum types until he just became too radioactive to deal with. Taylor’s reputation took a beating in 2022 and 2023 looks to continue this. This is going to be a fun thread to follow.

Hey Taylor, remember when you allowed us one exception from the COVID insanity so we could all go out and protest the police enacting sentences on people not convicted of any crimes? Remember when the paper you worked at published "Yes, we really do mean Abolish The Police" and fired their epidemic expert as part of a purge of anyone who put "Black NYTimes staff in danger"? Remember how we all talked about extensive criminal justice reform, before you all turned on Tim Scott's attempt to do some minor housekeeping, because the system's treatment of people who had not been proven of crimes is terrible?

You see here's your error - you're assuming that those words passed through some kind of "thinking" process. Tay-tay is a self-absorbed narcissist, and her thought processes begin and end with "I am correct". Therefore anything she says is correct by definition. There's no need to check for basic logic, consistency with previous statements, hypocrisy, any of that. Why check your work when you know it's correct? Anybody who points out any so-called "problems" with what you said is wrong by definition, therefore rather than waste time examining their so-called "point" you can go straight to pathologising them and accusing them of thought crimes.
This is why they all get completely blindsided when the Cancel Train calls at their station - it genuinely seems to come from nowhere.
