Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

"Elite" means to belong to an exclusive group. It doesn't necessarily implies they have political or social power, but most elite groups do have some of it through connections. The reason she has the job she has is through connections. People have to deal with her, but she's not particularly popular or talented. She's there to earn a check and to use the cartoon diploma she paid for.

Taylor on her own doesn't have as much power as she thinks. Nobody cares for her "journalism". People follow it because she happens to agree with the "approved" ideology, not because she is saying something that brings new ideas and makes people to consider them.

The current AI and troon shit does unironically make me think of what Ted K said about Conservatives. They ignore the idea that technology and it's acolytes will erode at the anything they try to conserve. Another thing is that the biggest technology/ the science faggots all seem to troon out. They tend not to really have any love for the philosophy of science and basically deny the idea of "truth" opting for some gay relativistic version of truth that's a child of Marx.
You got to the reality with the last part, they don't like technology/science they like what they think is elite magic and can shout down people who "oppose" science.

We basically knew most of this, except the part about handing a smear file off to a Department of Justice attorney in hopes of getting one of her enemies indicted. Which didn't happen, because it was all lies, but he was still investigated for three years.

This seems like it should be illegal. How tf can one person launder baseless allegations in a paper of record and then have a personal hookup to the DOJ? I would almost understand if this were a high-level Clinton or Trump scandal, we've seen how the spooks collude, but Taylor is a nobody attacking nobodies, and she's still getting her way with nobody seeming to care? Insanity.
If this was illegal then the regulatory state would collapse since this is pretty much how it does all its enforcement. Whenever you hear about a company doing some bad thing and getting slapped on the wrist by the government guess who was probably behind it? Their competitors. (Oh, "activist groups" got the credit? Guess who tipped them off and maybe provided some indulgences.)

Remember the "lead in toys" panic? Remember how all America's children were dying from minor amounts of lead in small level independently manufactured toys? Guess who informed the media and government about this threat and helpfully provided all kinds of research and documentation? And then helped write the legislation and regulations that specifically exempted them? Mattel.

Remember when they tried to destroy Microsoft? That was Netscape, Sun, etc. Collusion to lower prices for customers? Sorry, antitrust violation! Collusion to use the government to destroy your competitors, lock in markets and prop up your prices? Selfless good stewards of the general will.

Look at Facebook now that they're established, just trying to be a "public servant" who has "concerns" about Section 230, the lack of laws on internet access, the fact that the government doesn't regulate information, etc.

I don't begrudge them, they're just playing the game, but the narrative pretends there's no game just benevolent elites and they and the "elite" orbits around these in media/etc. gets really upset if you show it exists. (Even as like Taylor and Ben Collins they spend so much of their time claiming to be fighting for the little guy by exposing random internet people to harassment by elite-aligned political forces.)

It's not the Internet Archive so they're technically correct, hence why they're so smug about it. Her uncle has something to do with the Wayback Machine, which is easy for people who are not as deep as us into the internet to confuse them/think they're all the same thing, and that's why everything about her has been scrubbed from it. I'm trying to find how that information was found out.
Makes sense. Playing semantics when it is really in the same wheelhouse. I was seeing all sorts of smuggery on Twatter.

It's the thing they did with Zoe Quinn. Technically, she didn't fuck those five guys for good reviews - none of them reviewed her game. Promoted it, sure. Didn't disclose conflicts of interest, that's every day for journalists, let alone the gaming press. Helped it win prizes and enthused about its quality, definitely. But technically writing a proper review? Didn't happen, chud, so everything you say about everything is a lie.

So ignore that it's roughly the same thing, you're wrong on one detail so nothing else you say is true. Needless to say this doesn't go both ways, but being a smug asshole online is these people's entire personality. If they were deserving of empathy, it would be sad.

The progressive absolutely LOVES playing semantics. Because unlike with hard facts and set in stone science semantics falls into the realm of being fully a game of power, interpretation and consensus. It perfectly fits with their post-modern view of reality itself being just power structures you see: just like with how over time language changes and new spelling and grammar and expressions come and go they can flip things around and change reality itself at their whim using semantic games.

It is why they love being extremely pedantic about definitions and words, why they insist on arguing tiny points of detail instead of the larger issue at hand, why they will insist on taking what a enemy says as a "dogwhistle" with a deep nefarious meaning but a ally demanding death of a enemy as just a "expression".

In her free time the latter, in her career both. But in each case with the addition of "and it gives her a thrill to use her power in this way on people who have no way of fighting back."
And is utterly terrified of those who do to her what she does to others, when she has no way of fighting back.

I honestly think it's less terror and more hate, she knows someone like Libs of TikTok or places like this documenting her massive hypocrisy is not actually going to cause her any real inconvenience. She just cannot cope that they are allowed to say anything negative about her without being destroyed. It won't keep her up at night but it's an annoyance in a fairly pampered life.

I watched this video and all I learned was that I still hate Quarter Pounder with Cheese. But since it is supposedly about Our Gal™, here it is, though the title (to put it mildly) was not delivered upon. Has he always sucked this much? I remember watching him years ago and not being nearly as annoyed by him.

As an aside, the video is 13:39 but it is all ads and self-fellating until around the three minute mark. With more of the same at the end, though by that point I'd pretty much zoned out.

Edit: Here's Taylor Lorenz being interviewed, on May 3rd, 2023, I guess about her upcoming book. She somehow manages to convey utter retardation crossed with some sort of predatory fish. Not a connection I'd normally expect to make, but there you have it.

And the YouTube channel interviewing her, wow, what a collection of faggots. (One was wearing a Dolphins hat, so I guess being a faggot is redundant in that case.) Yes, tell us all about Blue Sky and how Twitter is going to collapse any day now, Taylor. Oh, yes, it must be so. Also, looks like a bigger setup than what Tim Poole has, but only has 134K subscribers? Weird.

I would guess it's because of Correct Opinions™️, so they get artificially boosted and helped by "advertisers" and "partners" along with ease of business. It's how they even got Taylor to show, you think she would step foot on the studio of someone who might call her out on being a cunt?
