I'm the type of faggot that likes to pay more for breakfast than dinner but even that sounds excessive to me.
- Avocado $2
- Lime juice $1.5
- High quality sourdough from a local bakery $6
Optional salsa and eggs:
These cost less, I'm just rounding it all up because addition is hard.
- Coriander $1
- Red onion $1
- Tomatoes $1
- A dozen eggs $4
$16.5 in total, which is enough to make avocado toast with a poached egg on top 5 times.

Mash up the avocado, add in a little lime juice. Dice up onions, tomatoes and coriander, add in a little olive oil.
Poach an egg or two, or fry, whatever. Cut sourdough and toast it.
Smear avocado mash on top then the optional salsa mix and one or two eggs.

Holy fuck, you can't be real. Who pays for this shit that a child can make? Nothing screams "cosmopolitan urban bugman faggot" more than paying $30 for avocado toast.

I've had it drilled in my head since middle school to never use Wikipedia for anything serious. To this day, I still abide by that.

Even I write on substack, it's just an article/blogging site, lot of people use it. I write shit about movies and Vidya, null writes about the internet, journoscum write about nonsense. I use substack cause I'm too pussy to make a YouTube channel and make videos.

I was told this back when I first went to University. Even today two decades later, professors will tell you to never use them. I guess they don't teach that in Harvard and Yale, or any courses these journalists take.

While for very obvious reasons I do not endorse people compromising Taylor's bank account, I cannot help but laugh at her picking one of the shittiest banks to use in America, hands down.

They do, the problem is Taylor who thinks the Internet™ is some entity where reality needs to be set in stone. Like, "why would they lie if they have an official website and an official website wouldn't say wrong things?" For a person writing about the internet, she's an absolute boomer about it.

The reason you aren't supposed to cite Wikipedia is because it's an encyclopedia and encyclopedias have basically never been valid sources for citation except in very select cases as examples or similar. Wikipedia is, in theory, actually better than most traditional encyclopedias because it lists its supposed sources so you can evaluate the claims in the article. (Not that anyone does this but that's a problem with regular sources too.)
