The Washington Post is _the_ place for nepo babies, actual glowniggers, and deeply connected Beltway insiders. Taylor Lorenz is part of the elite, which is more of a statement about the status of the modern elite than anything. But every employee there, likely including the mail room clerks, are connected. Taylor is an embarrassment but she’s their embarrassment. For Taylor to get fired means they care what the untermenschen think and they can’t be seen doing that. So Taylor will continue to draw a paycheck there until she moves on to something else but her reputation is so nuclear, I don’t even think the New York Times will take her back. The Washington Post is the most corrupted “newspaper of record” by far, nothing even comes to a close second.
