Taylor is such a self-parody and an interesting subject to study. It's really remarkable. She is literally the Steve Buscemi meme. I mean, here's a woman in her 40s who desperately wants to be one of elite cool kids in high school but is always a few years behind the times.

Case in point: Who uses, unironically, the terms "stan," "stanning," or some variation thereof anymore? That's slang from, what, six, seven, eight years ago? Her repeated use of that term in that CNN crime against humanity reminded me of my mother (of blessed memory) who would -- in a true, earnest attempt to relate to my friends and me -- try to employ slang terms from my older brothers' era and end up sounding really cringe.

Listening to Taylor try to sound like a cool-blade edge lord talking about the Internet overloads my cringe meter. Every fucking time.

FTR, you can be sympathetic towards this one or any murderer depending on the context. Like, if someone kills the CEO of something I hate, I'd totally get why they did it because I can understand why anyone would snap. I've wasted enough time doing lines to get my parents' medical appointments, and believe me, I've definitely daydreamed on going ape on everybody involved.

That's not what Taylor's doing. She's acting like a teen with a crush on one of the Backstreet Boys. For her, this is just another chance to act like one of the guurlz, she thinks this is tots kweel, sis...! He's not innocent because of the things he did, but because what he did is "cool".

Put it this way. A lawyer would say "your honor, my client is another victim of a our terrible healthcare system, as are we all, and there is a limit of what anyone can tolerate after our rights to medical treatment are denied by corporations that only look for profit". I'm not saying this is what happened, but this is what a lawyer would try to sell.

What Taylor would do is "omg, like corpos are bad, socialism is great, revolution is so cool, and Luigi is sooo hawt! Fight the system, ammirite...! How do you do, fellow leftists!"

As I mentioned before, she comes across as someone who fundamentally does not get being human or acting human, which means her attempts to imitate the shallow, petulant, and faux-radical retards she has latched on to always come across as extremely out of touch at best, and downright uncanny valley creepy at worst.
