I think Jesse/Katie got it exactly right when they said that Taylor doesn't want to be a journalist, she wants to be a social media influencer. All of these feuds and backstabbings are designed to drive engagement to her social media. It's the only thing she cares about; being the most popular girl at the Cool Kids' lunch table. If that means she winds up with an inconsistent message or she stabs her friends in the back, that's a feature, not a bug.

EDIT; I also like Katie's term "internet poisoning" to describe Taylor phenomenon of needing to constantly keep posting everything.

Indeed, most of the comments on the interview are "Charlie Kirk interview when?" and things like "damn, Charlie Kirk was going to go on next week..."

The interview itself must have been a snooze. Sounds like Adam didn't confront her about the constant lying, or her obsession with that one widow.

actually shocked that she's this committed to her new "free speech" grift. I was always assuming she'd double back as soon as the farms or others she considers "nazi" get brought up.

My guess is, she's just really that angry with "legacy media" (her words). taytay was pro censorship, ban hate speech and protect my fee fees, I'm the real journalist unlike all you alt right youtubers -- until she got fired. now she's "very critical of legacy media" and shit. It's because she isn't in the in group anymore, and now she's full of spite, that's my best guess. it's a very inconvenient position for her in many ways but i guess the ego bruise of being fired from WaPo is pretty big.

Honestly I'm glad the fucking avocado toast was smashed. I just started reading this, and I can just tell she's insufferable. I mean who the fuck thinks $22 is a good deal for avocado on toast? Even a fucking fetus can tell it's a fucking scam.

What she said about talking to underage people seems so predatory. I love the fact that liberals think that they're so moral whenever they love to threaten people who expose stupidity within the liberal space. I found it funny how she whined about wanting to kill herself over online posts and shit, just a total hypocritical stupid bitch. Not only that, but I genuinely hope the worst for her.
