I see that the TF2 community pulled out the same review bombing methods the Genshin Impact community used, as they also review bombed other apps (i.e. Roblox, Google Classroom) because they were unhappy about an anniversary event.

It's the same tactic as calling someone's workplace and saying "did you know one of your workers is a racist? i can't in good faith support you!!" (as if they even liked the product in the first place). Factorio already went through it, because dev said something redditors didn't like. Suddenly everyone started leaving negative reviews citing nit-picked reasons while stealthily adding "also... he's -phobic!!!" at the bottom. Anyone who does this soy cancellation tactic needs to drink bleach.

I checked /r/tf2 and they're almost fully back to posting le funny memes like "engineer gaming" and "scout says trans rights". It's been almost 2 weeks and there's been no action done other than signing some stupid petition by people who don't even play TF2 in the first place. Remember how half the subreddits went private in response to some disliked change? But now neither youtubers or /r/tf2 faggots could boycott the game at least for the duration of the #fixtf2. It's all so pathetic.

These tards probably see review bombing tactics work with other games and controversies (example Helldivers 2) and saw it work, failing to understand that those scenarios are different as those game's developers & publisher kinda give a shit about there games, have financial incentive to cave in to community, and issues are actually fixable.

TF2's community can't even be trusted to run a bath, let alone an effective boycott or protest. #FixTf2 was always doomed to fail.
