I used to watch this shit religiously, but honestly, I can't even really finish any of the android/cell saga episodes anymore, because what's the point of watching them desperately trying to make their own serious dub of dragon ball where the jokes are just MCU one-liners and references when Dragon Ball itself is right there and ALSO taking itself seriously, but better? Their Frieza saga was great, but it's hard to look at anything past that and not just see a bunch of dated fanfiction and blatant fandom misconceptions spawned from not actually watching the show but still using its exact same footage, characters, and plot and thinking you're hot shit for it.

You would think after a few years of view counts clearly demonstrating that only a fraction of their audience is willing to show up to non Dragonball content they would take the hint. Guess not.

Because she wanted to fuck her brother in the original. The Abridged version changed her to be a massive bitch with emotional issues who needed to learn to not blame her brother for what their shitty grandfather did to them.

There were a few good episodes during the third season. I found the episodes between the aftermath of Cell's fight with ascended Trunks and the start of the Cell Games to be hilarious. Episode 57 could easily rank as one of their best episodes. The thing those episodes did though in contrast to the rest of the third season was to remember to keep the show a parody and focus on the humor of the characters being who they are.

SAO Abridged has the massive benefit of what it's abridging being infamously shit, so whatever they do is generally an improvement in some way.

How does the original sound more like an abridged bit than the actual abridged, who actually has something that could be seen as a serious character arc? Some wires got crossed there.

Better one repetitive somewhat funny joke (which is par the course for abridged series) than the completely unfunny "joke" of a woman emasculating a guy over and over. Especially as that was already part of the first season anyways.
