Demon Slayer seems pretty good. But yeah, if you wanna abridge, you may wanna wait a while. Only issue is not much shit is as timeless as DBZ turned out to be.

Yet Toei will fuck anyone up who uses DB as a money making scheme. Recent example being Totally Not Mark.
 
Grant & Kirran's PLA playthrough is getting raped in viewcount, and I think it's kind of a shame because they actually have good chemistry and can be funny without falling into the typical cliches of let's players. But I guess the only people who still give a shit about TFS Gaming are the die-hard zoomers who want to hear Lani yelling and see him overacting in his face cam.

im surprised an autist hasn't tried to chart out TFS's potential finances.
they probably get about 10,000 a month in patreon money.
probably a few thousand when it comes to yotube views.
another couple thousand in merchandise sales, though they dont seem to shill that anymore.
another couple thousand from those food loot boxes that sponsor them.
dont forget patreon subscribers, bits and donations.
i think they're making anywhere from 20-25k a month.
makes you wonder how much lani, kaiser and the other 4 employees are getting paid, no doubt lani and kaiser pay themselves a decent chunk of that. plus bills for their office.
speaking of their patreon, they got rid of the 50 dollar patreon tier. probably because they didn't have enough people paying it, or they didnt want to fufill whatever it was.

They still have a handful of big paypigs who throw a few hundred dollars at them per stream.
 
One thing I can give them credit from a work perspective, they actually completed their best series, Hellsing Ultimate Abridged and ended it on a typically hilarious bang, I love how Alucard is relegated to being a therapist for thirty years whilst releasing the souls to regain control of himself from schrodingers powers. I also greatly appreciate the much more fitting and deservedly brutal death of Walter and the funnier accidental death Doctor they wrote in this version, Also Kaisers cover of Shine in the end credits was unexpectedly great and a perfect song to end this series with.

Honestly TFS adbridged may be their most famous but hellsing ultimate is their best, it’s way funnier and more consistent in its writing. It never once declined in quality through its 8 year run. Maybe it is just the advantage of having a much smaller anime to cover, but regardless it was a huge quality over quantity series being only annual and my God did they give it their all. Probably the best anime parody series I’ve seen to date. Even non animé fans can enjoy it.

Or Alucard saying how everyone in clearly a closet gay person, Alucard going "Hating Twilight is dumb guyzz", how Alucard even becoming a therapist goes against the entire character they've built up till now, how about that Walter's entire reason for turning traitor doesn't make a lick of sense or isn't all that funny, the amount of cringy humor. Also never declined in it's quality? Bull-fucking-shit, that series took a huge ass nosedive and never recovered from it and kept on sinking deeper and deeper.

But when did the decline start? I don't remember episodes 5, 6 and 7, but 8 had a great opening before falling apart and continuing its decline through the next several episodes.

For me personally, it went downhill around..ooo...I wanna say when they show the Vatican's army and Zorin's attack on the mansion. Up until that, the series was alright, but when that episode dropped the whole series just went crash'n'burn and never recovered. an just kept becoming worse with either the jokes or trying to sound like it was a badly written MCU script.

Ye, to make it super short, with the Vatican army all they had "Oh, we have all these crazy bibles humpin' KKK guys joining our cause!" ya know...because of the hoods...they're clearly the KKK. As for Zorin it was them suddenly having Sonic with a big dick appear for no reason as part of her illusion, murder a guy...then explain the joke itself. Then it was like when she "grows giant" the mercs going "OMG! WE ABOUT TO GET CRUSHED BY A GIANT PUSSY!!!" and course the infamous "It's a matter of perspective" line that the Nazis use while murdering the mercs.

And then they went on their stream to apologize for that joke, along with all the rape comments Jan made in EP 2. Also, Tahakata (or Kaiser) went on his Tumblr and apologized for making Rip an SJW.

I find it funnier than with Walter and his whole reason for turning traitor, they never stopped and realized what they implied? Like, you’re basically saying if he didn’t have “the gay”, he wouldn’t be joining Nazi Vampires?
 
Hellsing Abridged started going downhill when they went away from the Andrew WK intro. Which is also when Alucard took a backseat for awhile, because he's the only consistent source of humor.

It's also why I think the Cell Saga was weak. Gohan was never meant to be funny and most of the humor in the previous arcs centered around either the villains getting pissed off at how stupid Goku was, or an "I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say" character. Cell Saga had neither.

I'm gonna say, that even with Alucard being a consistent source of humor, near the end is where they REALLY started pushing him into an obnoxious degree like him going "YES! THAT IS A FUCKING JOJO REFERENCE!!" or shit like that and I won't lie it really bugged me when they suddenly tried to have this "shift" of trying to have some serious moment like with Anderson dying and some other scenes. It almost felt they had that same Cell moment going on "Oh, we can do serious/dramatic moments! It'll be better than the source material!" which ya know...kinda falls apart when you cut out some important scenes.
