So Lani has decided to try to copy Danny Sexbang, apparently, and Kaiser has gotten fat. I think Lanipator's weight has been slowly draining into Kaiser. They seem to still just be drifting without any idea what they're actually doing but absolutely determined not to do the one thing their fans want them to do. I'm not sure what quality their DBShorts and HFIL variants of DBZA are, but I suspect it's something that steadily decreases in quality, because without the backbone of the actual show being there to pull them back into alignment, they're just making parody fanfic that can only flanderize their characters more and more and relies entirely on their own creativity and humor - rather than making jokes about content someone else made. Considering how bad their original content is, I can only see that going poorly long term.

Also, them moving to end Unabridged, hinting that they want to end HFIL, and the offhand comment that 'gaming isn't really very good on YT anymore' really makes me wonder what exactly they want to do. Because it kind of sounds like the three things they have that are still getting them views and support they're itching to drop for some reason. (Yes, while I just said HFIL is probably going to be terrible long-term if it isn't already, it's also their most popular content currently). Is it Kaiser pushing for this? If it is, what does he want his content to be? All the stuff with their 'original projects' was announced by that random third guy, rather than Kaiser himself - which is either an attempt to push any ire away from Kaiser onto that guy, or an indication that Kaiser also doesn't want to do those. The only thing Kaiser seemed actually excited about were the "__ in x minutes" videos, which are basically just 'dabble in abridging lots of shows without committing to any of them, the series'.

I stopped paying attention to the whole crew back in 2016. Or 2015, whatever. They went from outlining Hillary's crimes against humanity and railing on about how she was unfit to be president to refusing to acknowledge any of her flaws the moment she was christened as the Chosen Candidate. It's better to never look at their twitter feed unless it's the official 'teamfourstar' account that just posts updates. They've got double-banged by the fact that they're utterly unlikable as people and they're not making content anybody wants anymore.

So the quality has either dipped or their audience is getting tired of pseudo-DBZA. Kaiser specifically points out being a tiny team, but isn't that his own fault for randomly firing people like MasakoX for no reason (though in retrospect maybe it was to try to cozy up to Sean Schemmel in the hopes of getting closer to being a 'real' VA) and cutting the throat of their patreon by stopping the only series their fans really wanted? He massacred his own growth, so he can't use that as an excuse for being slow.

There's a fine line between stuff that "builds character" and stuff that...y'know, breaks someone down. I don’t agree, I think that’s simply an issue with the original series itself, as OVA’s V-VI don’t include Alucard at all and refocus as Seras as the main character and Wild Geese fighting Zorin Blitz in the Hellsing Mansion. It’s still a great portion of the story but it sorely lacks the presence of the series best art, The Big A himself. Fans generally agree these are the weakest OVA’s before the real battles of London begins in VIII which often considered the best of the franchise. I don’t think it’s fair to blame TFS for thsi when it’s an issue with the original source material. It’s still damn funny nonetheless.

Aside from generic virtue signalling that could be triggered from any passing comment he saw about anti-woke, it's probably people complaining about how they apologize for older jokes or sanitize their newer jokes, or even LK's excessive disclaimer apologies on his older videos. It's not a novel idea to be annoyed by it, and many people are going to just jump to 'ew no too woke'. Rather than addressing those complaints directly, he's probably vague tweeting so he can virtue signal without directly starting a fight with a smaller twitter user so no one can accuse him of bullying.

Unrelated, but I distinctly remember there being a time when 'woke' meant very right wing views and was interchangeable with how 'based' was used before, enough that the now 'woke' crowd threw a fit about the word and kept pushing for it to be banned. I'm not sure when that changed. It was 'woke' like everyone else was 'asleep' like sheep or whatever, but the 'woke' people had broken programming.

Jesus Christ Lanipator, I get where your coming from, but that is simply not what it means, being ‘woke’ doesn’t mean an empathetic or kind person at all, it means most of these people are extremely vindictive, misanthropic and angry people who push progessivism into peoples faces with no regard of whether they care or like it or not. I think mainly Hellsing fans, I don’t see what you mean by them half-adding the mansion scenes, they did some really great jobs with the fight between seras and zorin, me also get funny jokes from the wild geese and I especially love how they added a scene where Alucard confides with seras just before she drinks Pips blood to save herself and how she needs to believe in herself if she wants to to save herself from death. Do you mean "jokes" like "it's a matter of perspective" that they managed to jackhammer into the ground faster than "Lulz, Catholic priests fuck kids!!"? The so-called Sonic joke which they had to explain which to quote the Joker "If you have to explain the joke, then there is no joke!". Also, the entire scene falls apart, because in the OVA it was Pip who pretty much offered Seras to drink his blood, so they could kick Zorins ass. As for the soundtrack, really even the anime stuck out like a sore thumb, you got this anime that tries to be dark and gothic and yet the soundtrack is this weird jazz..synth...whatever type of stuff.

Take that back right this second, the ost for the original Hellsing is godly, it’s a brilliant and unique mix of horror/ jazz/ acid rock by an immensely talented composer. It’s one of the best horror anime soundtracks ever, Get some new ears, your current ones clearly have no taste.
