I think my favorite part of watching anyone do anything is where every couple of minutes they let out an exasperated sigh and say how much this sucks and/or how not fun this is. Absolutely stellar content, why would anyone want to watch someone having fun and be engaged?

Some content creators forget they're supposed to be entertaining an audience. You don't have to pretend to like something you don't, but if you don't give a shit about recording the thing you've covering why should I or the rest of the audience for that matter care?

Kinda random, but Kaiser is shilling Rian Johnson's Glass Onion in The Critical Drinker's review notification. He literally dilates over TCD alongside some dumb bitch from the Dragon Ball community (some might know her from Weeb Wars). Who has her own shit takes on his critique. He's so far gone about it that he's on-sync with Nerdskull of all people.

Also, holy fuck, how many shills does Rian Johnson have? They're all just barraging on TCD (even Matt McMuscles is having a lolcow moment about it) & other not being a shill & not going with the "the film is meant to be retarded on purpose" defense. A defense only used cause Rian found a Beatles song on Urban Dictionary (a song from an album generally considered to be one of their worst ones) by smug retards (link has a they/them retard btw) & made probably one of the worst whodunnit murder mystery I've ever seen. At least it's advertised as such, you can technically make a false marketing claim against the film, if those ever worked (looking at you Kangaroo Jack). And the only basis to the defense being that the movie literally tells you it's retarded, & you're bad for asking for more.

To be honest, I think Kaisers only going this hard because he doesn't like TCD's politics and is only using this as an opportunity to make him look bad. Because, you know, with all the shit TFS is going through right now and the company on the verge of falling apart, talking shit on some semi-popular Internet critiques movie review is the best use of your time, right? It reminds me when some of these guys, along with some ex-TGWG members, jumped on LSMark, another semi-popular Youtuber, because he didn't include enough female examples when talking about famous Youtube critics from the golden ages of that time.

Speaking of golden ages past, it's actually a little sad to see these guys still strut around and act like their opinions still hold the weight they did barely a decade ago. The way his replies become longer and more numerous over time gives me the impression of someone who's desperately trying to have their opinion get some traction, which it never really does. I've seen similar behavior from people like Littlekuribo, ex-TGWTG's, and other Youtube celebrities from the late 2000's-early 2010's. I'm not sure if this attitude is because of them struggling to accept their falling relevance or if they were always assholes and were just young and blinded by their e-celeb status.

Side note; I never understood why people on Twitter go out of their way to find and complain about hot-takes they disagree for hours on end. I know some say that it's fun, but...it doesn't seem like it? I'm not saying that as an outsider looking in, I'm saying it as someone who's seen the same people who do this get clearly upset, up to the point of them tweeting about how angry or bothered they get by reading through a person they know they're going to disagree with's Tweets. Either these people are lying because they don't want to admit the actual reason or they have a very strange definition of fun.

I don't like the notion that we should feel any level of respect or empathy for them. If they worked eight hours a day like real adults have to there is no way they would fail to deliver their content the way they always have. Even something requiring as little effort as recording a podcast was too much for them. The only content they can release somewhat consistently is them playing video games and watching anime. TFS is a joke and deserves to be mocked for dying.

Maybe that's why I liked their series though, because it was created by the exact type who are as autistic as me about DBZ.

Imagine when they formed back in 2008 that they'd dwindle to just these two.
Even when Kirran & Grant were doing the gaming content with Lani, they had good chemistry in 2015 through 2017.
This is just sad.

Lani always came across as the more chill of the two, even if he’s had takes before that I don’t agree with. Dude seems to want to entertain more than Lani, who seems to just want to lecture and talk down to people.
