Wasn’t one of the implied reason DBZA came to an end that Funimation told TFS that they couldn’t provide (as much) defense for them against Toei anymore?

I thought it was said that all the major perceptions of DBZ characters was caused by TFS, like Goku being a horrible father and and a dumbass, or Piccolo being Father of The Year when it came to Gohan.

Except Yamcha. I think it was already established that Yamcha was A weakling and a joke.

I think they were planning on just skipping Bojack and going straight to the other world tournament, but then got bored and decided to just not bother. They've claim burn out, but also said that the reason they quit was because Perfect Cell was just such a good ending point that everything else felt like that extra season of Scrubs they did with the med students. Again, they just took themselves way too seriously.

No, that was bullshit so they could quit having to do the job they actually had to put some effort into. They hated doing it, and you can see lulls in the release schedule if you look at the dates for certain years.
If you look at their animation shit they basically just got Devil Artemis, a guy that started off by aping the Cell Vs joke but wound up growing into his own and arguably eclipse TFS in both quality and popularity. He's doing the animation for them, not sure if he gets paid, and if yes how much, but from what I recall hearing he was doing it for free for them out of gratitude.
They were hoping they could just coast off of their DBZA coattails and sit on their ass and play games/do anything else other than work

Goku being a retard wasn't helped by Super and Daima, they made him even more retarded because they forgot the protagonist was a hillybilly that grew up isolated from the world instead of an actual retard.
Yamcha got turned into a joke later, he was actually pretty dangerous initially

Not canonically anymore since the fucking Super Broly movie changed saiyans entirely and made Bardock le ebbin gud goyim instead of a renegade member of a ruthless warrior race. Thanks Toryiama

Honestly I never really gave a shit about Dragon Ball lore myself because Toriyama clearly never fucking did either considering how many times he literally forgot plot details or entire characters. It's clear he gave absolutely no fucks so I figure, why should I?

Would be even funnier for a Japanese company to get ruined in US court as copywrite law is not insane like Japan's. Also watching them lose a lot of support or at least face a ton of backlash as most of the DB community loved Abridged. Sure they would never work in voice acting or anything in anime ever again, but they don't do that anyway as is.

Could of grifted their fanbase to pay for the lawsuit just don't do what Karl Jobst did and act smug.

In the Abridgimon movie, they made fun of her for trying, saying she'd just end up working at Starbucks, but then she ended up getting more pro work than the main guys did.

Did anyone watch that Hells movie they did? It was an anime movie they did the dub for and I'm pretty sure it's the closest thing to pro work they ever got.

Didn't they get to do like 2 voices for the custom character in the english version of Dragonball Xenoverse? I think the two voices were Taka and Kaiser respectively if I recall correctly?
