In their defense, I feel like a lot of the fans suffer from this. You don't realize until you rewatch the series just how much useless filler there was. Our memories all got fogged up in a way by the popularity of the show.

From what I recall, at some point Kaiser tried to get back with him, showing him the whole TFS thing and thus hoping he'll be proud of him or some crap.
That's the thing that's confusing me actually. See, as per the actual story, his biological father is the polar opposite of him (aka a normal human being), making Kaiser not even wanting to approach him first.
Its hard to tell, I do def recall Kaiser mentioning one time, how he did show his TFS/youtube thing to his biological that and the latter didnt really get it. So, kinda seems at one point Kaiser did try to get his real dads acknowlegment of how he achieved something, after that flopped I guess he started sulking how his dad doesnt even care about his existence.
Like most people crying about parental issues online, it seems to me that Kaiser is just making things up inside his head to fit in with the rest of the weirdos online. I imagine his father actually gave him somewhat decent advice on doing YouTube: it is nice if you can find success, but it likely isn't going to have maintainable stability overtime.

Funny you mention RT, because it seemed RWBY had charm and promise to be something before Monty died and everything about RWBY started taking itself way too seriously. And then all their material dropped in quality, even Red vs Blue.
Some of it is mentally-stunted. He genuinely might not mentally view himself as an adult. Always seeking the approval of the parent because he is stuck mentally in the role as a kid. Lashing out in a childlike temper tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants out of them.
He sees Kaiser as the family embarrassment and rightfully so.
I think it was 2015 or 2016 they said that they wanted to be like roosterteeth and grow their company similar to them. Glad to see they are still sticking to that plan.
