But yeah Japan is a giant litigious shithole. Didn't Nintendo recently win some lawsuit to block a charity from playing their games live (I think it was a kids charity but I don't care enough to go dig it up)
No, that was like a few years back. The reason they sued em is because they had some Pikachu art used to promote their charity event.
Sega gouged the largest V-Tuber company over there because they didn't get express written permission to stream their games
I mean, Vtuber companies are huge scumbaga of humanity, soooo....hard to feel bad for them.

I was referring to this. It happened about a year ago (June 2025), I'm unsure if they actually sued or just threatened to, it was a "Wow, what a bunch of cock suckers" and moved on with my day.

While I can agree Sabat is a fucking rat, I think it's far more likely that Schemmel would be the one to push hardest to black list them. Dude is such a fucking fragile bitch that he routinely loses his shit if you imply somebody else has voiced Goku.
He can lose his shit all he wants. He is a damn good Goku, but Kirby Morrow was the best in my opinion.

Not related to anything said by TFS recently (for once) but when it inevitably gets bashed into one of their shit parodies again
>MUH JAP OST
>TOTAL FAULCONER DEATH

Nobody cares you faggot weeb cunts kys.

lol I care. Faulcouner production were the fucking GOATs. That riff for the SSJ3 transformation was the stuff of legends.
The Perfect Cell theme lived in my head for years after I watched the episodes. They love to bitch and moan about how it wasn't perfect or whatever, but the dude gave us some pretty awesome music to keep the show from feeling like it was going at the pace of a glacier. They can bitch and moan all they want, but Bruce was able to do what they weren't: Come up with something new that didn't suck.

Gohan's Anger has been stuck in my head since I was a child.

Them hating the English dubs music is one of the things that eventually made me dislike Team Four Star back when they were still making DBZA, along with all the creepy jokes about Dende wanting to fuck Gohan and them just shitting on Goku constantly.

them just shitting on Goku constantly.
They went into that way too fucking early. The first time Gohan loses his shit on Goku, what does he say? "Abandon me for a year with Piccolo, send me off into space". But that's not what happened, even in their dub. Goku was dead, he wasn't wished back for a year because he was told to train for the saiyans coming. And Gohan volunteered for space, even standing up to his mother for the first time to do it. And it kept happening.

They admitted part of what took episode 60 a year to come out was that they realized they'd gone too hard into the "Goku is a bad dad" thing and now the emotional payoff of the father-son Kamehameha at the end didn't work, so they had to try and undo it in a couple of speeches.

I thought the Goku stuff was funny at first. Is it fair to call Goku a bad father? No, not really. Having said that, people wouldn't have latched on to it so much if there wasn't a tiny nugget of truth to it. That is, Goku missed long periods of Gohan's childhood over the years, good reason or not. I can see how the "Just went out for some cigarettes" jokes write themselves, that's all.

The bigger problem IMO is that both TFS and especially the fans just ran it into the ground.

Bad Dad Goku truly starts after Freeza when he refuses to return home because he's found new training. Not that it was not important and useful - no matter the outcome, a Goku that can't teleport can't get Cell out of Earth before it blows up - but it stands out more compared to other times.

His first training period was when he was 12 and had no family. Then he spent some time out in the wild to improve his tail after meeting Grampa and otherwise get stronger by age 15, still no family. He kills Piccolo and has to be trained by Kami-sama to fight Piccolo later, taking another few years. We then have the years of peace until Raditz shows up and he dies, now he HAS to be trained and can't meet anyone because, again, dead. He leaves Earth as soon as he's healed in part because his friends are in danger and while he trains on the way he's got time pressure.

When Porunga tries to bring him back, it's the first time where it's framed as his stubborn decision to leave family and friends behind for 'unnecessary' training - Freeza's dead, Freeza's people are dead, Vegeta isn't starting a rampage yet, and there's nothing on Earth to threaten him. So in a sense, there's no reason for Goku not to come back then, AND there's no reason other than him being bad at psychic powers to take so long to master teleportation and so on.

Something similar happens post-Cell, of course. Goku does care about his family and friends since he feels it's his fault everyone's been in danger, but he's also excited at being able to fight the strongest in history. And then you add that Goku projected himself on Gohan the one time he shouldn't and we get Bad Dad Goku.

The idea I saw that kind of justified it that I've accepted as my head canon is that Goku stayed away to master the Super Saiyan form so he doesn't hurt his family.

He tells Gohan during the final fight with Frieza "Leave now before I lose whatever reason I have left!"

We know that he was able to transform into the form easily because Trunks asks if he can do so at will.

We also know that without the proper emotional control Goku and Gohan both snap. Gohan did so with SSJ 2, and Goku did so on Namek.

So him staying away to master it and learn new things at least makes sense. He also probably thought that his family would be relatively okay without him now that the big bad was gone

I legit forogt about 4/20 until this post... do people actually celebrate this still? How sad.

Most of the beloved Faulconer Productions score themes are loved for a reason. They’re great.
They’ve even inspired entire music projects like Saiyan Enigma which has made some fantastic tracks in that style for DBS and what if ideas like Gogeta vs Vegito.

Btw, Bruce himself didn’t write most of those tracks. Three dudes named Scott Morgan, Mike Smith and Julius Dobos wrote them. Faulconer just got the credit.
He DID write Prelude to Conflict AKA the theme song which is cool.
In case anyone didn’t know.
If I hear "Gokouuuuu" from Kaiser one more time I'm gonna fucking McLose it.
“Go-Koo.”

Shut the fuck up you ugly homo.
You don't celebrate Columbine and Hitler's birthday? What are you, a fucking loser?
And Bay of Pigs.
