I'm amazed lootboxes still exist, they were a huge scam back in the day and it seems like the whole business collapsed.
They sold themselves as curated collections, but were basically the online nerd merch equivalent of those $3.00 grab bags you buy at the thrift store that have two skeins of yarn, a single earring, and a stained Angry Birds plush toy.

Toei Animation: watches DBZA ...that's a terrible impression
TFS: But not inaccurate!
Toei Animation: WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!

Hey what does little kureboh do these days? He hasn't made any videos in like 6 months, I know that he streams, but I don't know how frequent. Only thing I know is that when that whole obscuras Lupa and LS Mark fiasco went down, he was acting like a complete dick to people defending Mark.

Edit: Autocorrect had it as "Luca", as opposed to "Lupa" lol so I fixed that.

Also I remember there was a period when he made wrestling videos every day called Mark Remark, but I guess he got burnt out on making wrestling videos. Ohhhhh now I remember he did a Nostalgia Critic style reviewed a movie with a wrestler in it (I think the wrestler was the Miz) and Kureboh kept saying wanky sjw shit like 'Ohhh she got rejected from a job because she's a woman.' it was so cringe, even for him.

Burnout after almost two decades of silly Youtube videos seems most plausible (same thing James Rolfe's seemingly going through). Then again, people like LK and TFS seem to be forever mentally stuck at 15, so we can only guess what toll (if any) it would take on their sanity to fake-dub animu for so long.

Yeah true. In one of his 'Im still here' videos, he said that he hates making yugioh abridged... Yet he still makes it lol.

Go serve coffee in a Starbucks night shift then tell me how much you hate your open-hours office job.

How long do you give it before they're sent crawling back to dbz abridged their clear scramble for a post dbza identity is clearly unsustainable and not working simply observe the disparity in viewcount between the animated shorts that are effectively an extension of dbza and everything else they upload
I mean, I'd say that'll only happen if they get a HUGE dip in their Patreon numbers.

I imagine it being a year or 2 they'll start talking about ideas they had or would have done it'll spiral from there and whatever writers block they had will go away that or desperation for relevance and average view counts higher than 40k

It probably wouldn't be worth bringing back if they did. The quality of them would almost certainly dip due their reluctant continuation. Assuming they don't do anything to change the production of the episodes.

My presumption is any continuation will result from a natural dissolution of writers block I believe their dramatic declaration of cancellation was almost certainly hasty and frankly they'd be better served by an "indefinite hiatus" honestly

I will say one thing if they do bring back DBZA, they are sure as fuck aren't gonna be "edgy" with their humor. They'll be walking on eggshells hard and making sure they aren't offending anyone...well..I mean not offending the woke/twitter types.

I mean their numbers have already been crashing. Their highest was around 2,850 subs on Patreon. That number has been slowly decrasing ever since before it started to crash last year. They get small bumps but not enough to prevent the churn. Right now they are sitting at around 1,513 but its gone as low as 1,494. It's not sustainable in the long run. Obviously this doesn't include their youtube revenue and other things so we can't fully know their financial situation. Graphtreon puts their Patreon income around $1K - $12K and Social Blade puts their youtube monthly income around 1.2K - $18.8K. But youtube monetization is weird and a maze of bullshit.

It will be just like the end of the Cell saga: Everybody's gay (including and specifically children), references to currently popular shit like they did with Steven Universe and that gay musical, some TDS and rewriting parts completely and then talking about how the original script was shit.

The buu saga is honestly a bit of a mess especially in the super buu before vegito showed up bit but I always found it a bit overhated honestly toriyama did try to have more fun with esoteric powers and abilities again like in old dragon ball
