I sorta feel your pain, but couldn't you just buy a smart TV and not connect it to the internet? But I wish TVs weren't smart as well, just another thing that could potentially break.Currently shopping for a tv and much to my disgust trying to find a non-smart tv is like panning for gold. I just want a tv that watches tv, there is literally zero reason why I would ever want to browse the internet on my fucking television!
I could, but in my experience they are slow to boot up, hard to navigate and last a fraction as long as old TVs. Even if you bypass the internet you're still stuck with awful proprietary software and a shitty interface.I sorta feel your pain, but couldn't you just buy a smart TV and not connect it to the internet? Why does YouTube detect every animated video as "for kids?" That's annoying. For some reason, YT detected this as "kids' stuff", so comments are disabled with a "Try YouTube Kids" there instead.
Option 1: Because YouTube/Google hires for "diversity" instead of actual skill/talent/knowedge so the algorithm is shitWhy does YouTube detect every animated video as "for kids?" That's annoying.
Not just animated stuff. Even a "Chris Chan" video got detected as "for kids".Why does YouTube detect every animated video as "for kids?" That's annoying.
They work, but usually they're laggy shitboxes. You can get an older plasma 2nd hand? They're heavy as all fuck though.I could, but in my experience they are slow to boot up, hard to navigate and last a fraction as long as old TVs. I think its more option 2 than anything. COPPA came down like a Thunder Hammer, and Youtube just started nuking everything trying to cover their ass. Much sad, people's channels like toy reviewers got fuckedOption 1: Because YouTube/Google hires for "diversity" instead of actual skill/talent/knowedge so the algorithm is shit
Option 2: Ameriburger verison: Youtube/Google got rightfully (but massively under) fined by the FTC for violating COPPA , and Google's lawyers most likely demanded that they go overboard in what "children's content" is. Eurofag edition: GDRP laws
Option 3: Options 1 and 2 combined.
Google does not have a tech support number. What the actual fuck?
You can go to either the dealer or an independent shop with most other car brands. Double advantage. That sounds as bad as how you can't call Tesla service directly (I think). You have to use their Tesla app to request for service, whereas with other car brands, you can still talk to a dealer for help.
Many places now sell double-walled boxes, so you can once again carry as much as a box used to carry.Large and sturdy moving boxes seems to be a thing of the past. This is IoT related because they only sell shitty boxes online(as well as in the stores).
It bugs me though, the new ones are smaller and can't handle as much weight so you need more boxes made out of more shitty cardboard.
Just swapping out dozens of floppies for hours and if even one goes bad you're done.No hours of updates afterward or sudden breaking auto-updates.
I wouldn't even know what to do in that situation. Erm, get a capture card and an entire camera I guess?Buying a webcam that's 1080p/60fps shouldn't be so fucking difficult. It's either 1080p/30fps, 720p/60fps, or you find one that is 1080p/60fps but the image quality is a fucking potato.
Also, fuck this modern day bullshit of having to install a dozen different browser plugins to make the internet (and sometimes a single site) functional.
