This started a few days ago; when I try to upload a file, the box will disappear without actually showing the uploaded file. I ended up finding a way around it by using the preview option, where everything works normally. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yep, I did all that too. (Also, forgot to say, I'm using the most recent version of Chrome.)
 
Some of the tags for threads especially in Lolcows have disappeared. One example is that the tag for Nick Bate 2 which is Horrorcow disappeared until I put it back up.
 
Just lost the ability to see staff online and people I follow...

Edit; I am sure it has to do with the whole Linode ddos going on.

I have a technical grievance I can't change my avatar, what happened here?
 
I can't make a group I want to make, when I am at the category selecting screen it doesn't let me choose a category but the drop down menu still drops down
 
How did I get seven negative ratings, on account of what manhood101.com (aka Charles Gellman) posted, when I first joined and had not posted anything yet at the time?
 
For a while now, I haven't been getting update notifications for any thread in the Lolcow forum, in particular Kylie Brooks' thread. Not sure if it's just the one thread or the whole subforum.
 
The se9 media bbcodes pack could do with updating, the twitter embeds (and a bunch of others no one uses) have stopped working.

ask the person to make a screen shot instead of embedding

This problem is still happening for me. Can anyone think of what's causing it?

Probably some weirdness in the upload feature. I see this occasionally, and usually, hitting the disk icon, choosing "Save Draft," then reloading the page will then show the file and it can be attached.

On the rare occasion this doesn't clear it up I just embed from imgur or something.
